Summer House star Paige DeSorbo and Southern Charm star Craig Conover have been rumored to be dating ever since they filmed the upcoming spin-off series Summer House Winter Charm. The duo met for the first time on camera at Kyle Cooke's 37 fraternity-themed birthday party while the cast was filming in The Hampton's for Summer House season 4. Craig and his fellow Southern Charm co-stars Austen Kroll and Shep Rose also attended the party. While Paige and Craig were just friends back then, it seems their friendship has grown into something more.
When the guys of Southern Charm crashed The Hamptons house two summers ago, no one would have thought Paige and Craig would one day be a rumored couple. At the time, Paige was in a committed relationship with her older boyfriend Perry, who she broke up with in fall 2020. While they were dating, the fashion writer was open about not being ready for marriage and family at this stage in her life. Perry was ready to take their relationship to a level that she just wasn't ready to commit to.
Rumors of a relationship between Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover began shortly after they wrapped filming for Summer House Winter Charm in March 2021. In April, a fan spotted Paige and Craig hanging out at a bar in Charleston. From what they saw, it seemed as though the two were much more than just friends. The fan spotted them allegedly holding hands, hugging, and flirting all night long. They even left the bar holding hands, with Austen and Summer House newbie Ciara Miller also flirting behind them. Shortly after a fan spotted them getting cozy, the 29-year-old went on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, hosted by Amanda Hirsch, and shut down the dating rumors. She told Amanda, "I planned this trip, actually, because my brother and his girlfriend were going away for her birthday and they were going to go to Miami, and then they were like, ‘You know what, let’s go to Charleston.'"
The 32-year-old discovered Paige was in town and decided to show her and Ciara around the city. Alas, Paige reiterated that the gesture was nothing romantic - just a fun time between friends. "Craig and I have known each other for years [...] So we’ve always gotten along. We’ve always been friends," she added. When the host brought up the DeuxMoi story, Paige admitted that what people saw was "blown way out of proportion." She is well aware Craig was dating someone and assured the listeners she would "never like disrespect a girlfriend or anything." Back then, Craig was in a relationship with Natalie Hegnauer, who was introduced to the show last season. However, it seems they may no longer be in a relationship as she does not follow him on social media anymore. To add even more fuel to the fire, a fan shared with DeuxMoi that they saw Paige and Craig checking into a New York City hotel sometime this month.
While the Paige and Craig rumors have not been confirmed, it seems as though they do have a budding romance. It seems like they took their friendship to the next level while in Vermont for the Summer House Winter Charm spin-off but are still hesitant to go public. With the show set to air in fall 2021, the fans will get an inside look at what is really going on between these two.
