Now that Lindsay Hubbard and Carl Radke from Summer House are an official couple, Lindsay is hopeful that their romance will work out. Lindsay recently let the cat out of the bag and confirmed fans' suspicions that she is dating her costar. This is Lindsay and Carl's second time around, as they formerly dated. Now, they've both matured, and Lindsay thinks that they have a better chance of making their relationship last. She believes that Carl wants many of the same things in life as she does, so they have a strong chance of having a future together.
In recent weeks, fans became extremely suspicious about Lindsay and Carl's relationship. The longtime friends started to drop hints that they took things to the next level. Lindsay posted a series of photos over the last month, highlighting how much time she and Carl were spending together. On Christmas, Lindsay seemingly confirmed that the pair were an item with a post showing how they spent the holiday together. After a series of failed relationships, Lindsay decided to give things another try with Carl, and it looks like their romance is going well.
Lindsay recently confirmed her budding romance with Carl, telling Page Six that they're "definitely dating." With Lindsay and Carl being friends for so long, there's already a natural bond there that Lindsay believes will help them to stand the test of time. She gushed over Carl from Summer House being her dream man that she wants to start a family with. "Of course [he does]! He’s just so wonderful and obviously handsome,” Lindsay said. She added, “We want the same things in life, so hopefully there’s a strong future there.” The big reveal on their romance comes just in time for the season 6 premiere.
The couple actually started filming the season while they were both single, so it's likely that viewers will get a chance to see what led them to reignite their flame. The last fans got to see, Lindsay was competing with Ciara Miller for Austen Kroll's attention on Winter House. After telling Austen that she loved him, and being told he only loved her like a sister, Lindsay from Summer House got the message and decided to move on. When she was rekindling her flame with Carl, both reality stars decided to keep their romance private and off the show. Lindsay says that "blocking everything else out and really focusing on each other and spending time with each other without outside distractions, has been really helpful."
The couple previously tried to date in season 4, but they had a disaster of a date. Carl became extremely drunk and obnoxious and Lindsay wasn't happy. They remained good friends, and Lindsay offered a lot of support when Carl decided to start living a sober life following the passing of his brother due to an overdose. With both of the Summer House stars growing and maturing in the three years since their last date, it looks like Carl is the man that Lindsay needed. Hopefully, they're the next couple fans get to see walk down the aisle.
