Hannah Berner joined Summer House in 2019 for the show's third season. She and Paige DeSorbo entered the house together as the two new single girls. As the years went on, Hannah and Paige began to develop a close friendship. In fact, at one point, they had one of the most stable relationships in the house. Hannah was also friendly with her other housemates, Lindsay Hubbard and Amanda Batula, but those friendships have soured since the season five reunion.

When she first came onto the Bravo series, Hannah was often judged for her lack of femininity. However, Hannah was always able to brush off the negative comments, which viewers loved. Since season five began to air, fans have started to turn against Hannah and no longer found her to be the relatable cool girl in the house. Viewers didn't love how Hannah treated Amanda and her fiancée, Kyle Cooke, this season. The feud Hannah ignited caused both fans and her fellow castmates to turn against her.

Since season five came to an end, 29-year-old Hannah is focusing on getting her stand-up career back in motion. After COVID-19 caused the world to shut down in March 2020, Hannah was forced to postpone several dates for her comedy show. Now that the country is slowly opening up, she has a few dates set from June to October. Some of the cities she will be going to are Long Island, New Jersey, Buffalo, and Nashville. Besides her stand-up career continuing to take off, Hannah is also a co-host on Bravo's Chat Room, a talk show where some of the women of Bravo cover some of the biggest headlines in pop culture. Hannah hosts the show alongside Gizelle Bryant from The Real Housewives of Potomac and Porsha Williams from The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

When Hannah first joined Bravo's Chat Room, she often spoke highly of her significant other, Des Bishop. She and Des started casually dating last summer, right before Hannah began filming Summer House. The pair fell in love fast, leading to a whirlwind engagement. In March, Hannah shared a photo to her Instagram announcing her engagement to Des. "Thanks for the engagement shoot mom! Love you @desbishop," she wrote in the caption. Viewers got a glimpse into Hannah and Des's relationship during season five of Summer House, and the pair seem to be the perfect match. Not only are they obsessed with each other, but they are both comedians with the same sense of humor.

Now that season five has come to a close, Hannah is focusing on her career and personal life rather than the drama from Summer House. With her stand-up career underway and getting ready to plan a wedding with Des, Hannah has spent this time away from the house focusing on herself. Hannah may not return for season six now that her friendship with Amanda and Kyle has been fractured. Season five may be the last we see of Hannah Berner on Summer House.
