In early May, Summer House season 5 ended, and we're here to share facts about the upcoming sixth season. Viewers are already excited about what season six will bring. The last season was tumultuous due to a lot of drama among the housemates, so season six is likely to have a very different atmosphere. Some people have left the summer house for good, but newbies will be joining the cast.
Last season was the first year that everyone stayed in the house for the whole summer rather than driving back and forth from the city on the weekends. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the cast had to work and party in the same house. While this way seemed more convenient for the housemates, the situation created a lot of tension among cast members. Hannah Berner was at odds with a majority of her co-stars during season five, and she quit the show shortly after the reunion aired.
The cast members have yet to confirm whether or not Summer House is filming. However, the reality series is usually filmed from the last week of June until Labor Day weekend. It is likely that the cast is already in the middle of filming and their Instagrams seem to confirm that. PR maven Lindsay Hubbard, who is one of the few original cast members, shared a photo of herself on June 26. In the pic, she was in front of the restaurant Lunch Lobster Roll. She used the hashtag #Hamptons on her @lindshubbs Instagram. No one else seemed to share a similar picture. However, the cast has been spotted together more often in the last few weeks. Lindsay, Carl Radke, and Danielle Olivera were together at Bounce Beach Montauk, with Loverboy drinks in hand. It seems as though Kyle Cooke, who owns the Loverboy brand, was having a party for the brand. See that post below:
Danielle also shared a snap of herself on June 19, outside the beautiful Montauk home where the group usually summers. While no one has officially confirmed it, it seems as though filming is well underway. As for the newbies that will be joining next season, an announcement has yet to be made. However, earlier this week, the Instagram gossip account, Deuxmoi, shared a photo of the cast of Summer House filming at a local Hamptons restaurant with new cast members in attendance. Carl and Kyle were seated at the table, possibly with ICU nurse and model Ciara Miller and Amanda Batula. However, it is unclear who else was there. Nonetheless, the source did notice a few new faces.
Even though Summer House season 6 will not be airing until early 2022, viewers are excited to see that filming appears to be underway. Most of the cast is returning, with the exception of Hannah, as well as some newbies. So far, the upcoming season is generating quite the buzz.
