Lindsay Hubbard continues to tease all of the time she spends with Carl Radke and Summer House fans are convinced the co-stars are dating. In recent weeks, Lindsay has posted a series of photos with Carl included. While the two have always been close friends, their romantic history leaves many speculating if they'll ever try dating again. With them both being single, show fans think the timing is right for Lindsay and Carl to reignite their romantic flame. But it looks like they might be on the same page.
Season 4 saw Lindsay and Carl attempt to date each other. The season kicked off with the co-stars revealing that they hooked up over the summer. While filming, Lindsay and Carl went on a date that turned into a disaster due to Carl's behavior. But at the time, Carl was still drinking and living life much differently. In season 5, fans got a chance to see a new and improved Carl who was sober and more attentive to people's feelings. But at the time, Lindsay was in a relationship with her ex Steven Traversie.
Despite attempting to spark a flame with Austen Kroll on Winter House, Lindsay is still on the market after Austen told her he loved her like a sister. Not one to stay single for too long, Lindsay has seemingly been dropping hints that she's spending her free time with Carl. In recent weeks, Lindsay has shared posts that include Carl. Earlier this month, she spent time with her best friend and Carl was seen in the photo memories. "Bestie was here for a New York minute," Lindsay captioned the post. A few days later, she posted up a photo alongside Carl, Amanda Batula, and Kyle Cooke. "Girls of summer 💕 Boys of lover," Lindsay captioned the possible double date pic.
With them all being co-stars, it's an easy pass off as a friend's photo. But Lindsay continues posting more photos with Carl. On Christmas, she posted a photo slide that included a solo shot of Carl and one with them standing together. "Back on my bow shit," Lindsay captioned the post. The holiday post seemingly confirmed fan speculation about Lindsay and Carl being more than friends. Reddit user u/RealPaulieWalnuts started a thread asking if the photo made them Instagram "official?" One fan speculated that Lindsay and Carl were just trying to drum up chatter ahead of the new season. One person hoped they were really dating and not just pandering to reel in viewers.
One critic noted how the Christmas post didn't include any family or friends so it "makes this feel like a PR Christmas and not like a real couple dating." Whether or not Lindsay and Carl are dating, they're definitely spending more time together. While it's possible the outings could be staged to fuel speculation, it's also clear that Lindsay and Carl do enjoy being together. The Summer House stars have tried dating in the past. Maybe they'll try again in season 6. Fans will be tuned in regardless. There's nothing wrong with Lindsay and Carl giving the viewers what they want to see.
