Amanda Batula didn't officially join Summer House until season two, but she has been a presence on the show since season one. She was known as Kyle Cooke's ex and current hookup at the time, and, in true Kyle and Amanda fashion, the couple got into a screaming match during the final episode of the first season. The following season, Amanda was promoted to a full-time cast member, and she and Kyle were able to mend their broken relationship. Now, the couple is engaged with plans to get married within the year.

For Amanda, season five mainly focused on her and Kyle's upcoming nuptials. The couple began discussing different plans for the wedding and even threw a wedding-themed party at the end of the season to celebrate their love. Besides her wedding storyline, Amanda's friendship with Hannah began to deteriorate. Amanda didn't approve of the way Hannah spoke to Kyle and was furious when she found out about Hannah's intimate moment with her boyfriend Des, which took place in Amanda and Kyle's bathroom. Since then, their friendship hasn't been the same.

Once season five wrapped, Amanda began to focus on her and Kyle's beverage company, Loverboy. The company has been doing quite well since it launched in 2019, with several flavors already available. Loverboy sells both hard teas and spritzes, and recently came out with a new spritz called the espresso martini. Other than growing her and Kyle's business, Amanda fostered a dog, which she documented on her Instagram. While deciding whether she and Kyle should adopt their first puppy together, an animal shelter from New York City reached out to her about fostering a dog until he is ready for his forever home. She, of course, accepted and took care of the dog for less than two weeks before she had to give him up.

Amanda has a number of great things going on in her life right now, but her fallout with Hannah has become a source of tension between them. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, the 29-year-old opened up about her fractured friendship with the comedian and how she isn't sure Hannah will be attending her and Kyle's wedding. "At this point, I’m more sad about, like, where our relationship has gone vs her being there or not," she told the publication. " It’s our wedding day and we just want to be surrounded by, like, happiness and positivity. [...] I’m more upset about where things have gone and how they’ve gotten here." Hannah claims Kyle is the reason for the fallout between her and Amanda, but Amanda has continued to defend her fiancée in the face of Hannah's claims.

Now that season five has officially come to an end, Amanda is ready to marry the love of her life. She and Kyle have built a strong relationship, both romantically and professionally. They were able to grow Loverboy into an even bigger company since the pandemic and grew closer as a couple. As for Amanda's friendship with Hannah, it seems as though Hannah will have to make the first steps into mending the relationship. If not, Summer House season six will show a very interesting dynamic between Amanda and Hannah.
