Amanda Batula opened up about her fertility concerns on Summer House, and she fears she won't be able to have children. She joined Summer House season 2 as Kyle Cooke's girlfriend, and made appearances on the show as early as season 1. On the show, Kyle and Amanda took steps to progress their relationship, first with an on-screen proposal and then with an on-screen wedding in Summer House season 6. Now, Amanda is sharing her next chapter and struggles with fertility.

During an all-girl tea party, new cast member Samantha Fehler implied that Summer House's Amanda Batula would be the first to have kids, as she's the only married cast member in the group. This allowed Amanda to share her recent fertility concerns, telling the girls that since stopping birth control after her wedding, it had been over six months since her last menstrual cycle. The news worried Amanda, as she has always planned on starting a family. Amanda also admitted that she hadn't yet shared this information with her husband Kyle, for fear of causing unnecessary concern.

Summer House's Amanda Batula Fears Answers From Her Doctor

While continuing to discuss Amanda's fears, Ciara Miller asked Amanda first and foremost if she had seen a doctor. Amanda gave a brutally honest and heartbreaking answer. She told Ciara, "I'm actually kind of nervous to go. It could just be something as an easy fix, but there's a little bit of a 'I don't want to know.'" The girls all rallied around Amanda at that moment, especially recently single Summer House cast member Danielle Olivera. Danielle was quick to remind Amanda that she was not put on this earth solely to have children and regardless of the doctor's response, she has a team to support her.

Overall, the tea party was full of nothing but support for Amanda and her reproductive health. Amanda spoke more about her on-screen admission to People, stating, "I keep a lot of things to myself, but I have two really good friends that pushed me to look into things more and talk about it and open up more. It's something I'm happy to talk about and it's good for other people to hear about." Amanda spoke on this issue not only because it's close to her heart, but because she believed the conversation would help others as well.

Amanda Previously Shared Her Infertility Concerns On Winter House

Amanda first spoke about her concerns with infertility in Winter House season 2 during a conversation with fellow cast member Paige DeSorbo. In one episode, she told Paige that after getting off birth control, she had always assumed that she would immediately be pregnant. This is what health class had always taught her growing up. Paige was quick to comfort Amanda when she broke down in tears over her rising concerns. It's clear that these concerns were not resolved by the time summer rolled around.

Summer House Star Amanda Batula's Health Has Improved

During a Watch What Happens Live appearance on March 13, Amanda confirmed that her health issues have been taken care of. "My health is a lot better... Everything's flowing the way it should. Yeah, I'm flowing," she said on the show. Although there are plenty of episodes to come this season on Summer House, it is unclear whether a doctor's visit will be included in one of the following episodes. Now that Amanda has gotten the help and resolution she needs on her reproductive journey, she will feel a lot better knowing that her health has improved.
