In the series, the family is consistently at odds with each other with the second season finale showing Kendall going against his father in what looks to be an intense wrestle for power for the upcoming season based on the sly smile appearing on Logan Roy's face as the last shot. It has not been revealed what connection Skarsgård's character will have with the members of the Roy family, but it would not be unreasonable for him to have a stake in the upcoming perilous battle. The third season of Succession is currently in production, and it will be intriguing to see how Matsson will be included and what Skarsgård will bring to the series.
