HBO has released Kendall’s birthday party playlist from Succession. Hit HBO show Succession first aired in 2018, and centers on the dysfunctional owners and family members of Waystar RoyCo, who battle for control of the company amid the waning health of company founder Logan Roy. Playboy Kendall Roy, has proven to be a popular character, and last week fans watched the heir apparent to the Roy empire discuss playlist ideas for his 40th birthday.

Kendall wanted “all bangers all the time,” and, according to reports from Uproxx, HBO has dropped the playlist in question. There are 16 tracks, including “Hey Boy Hey Girl” by The Chemical Brothers, “Go" by Geek Boy, and “White Lines (Don’t Don’t Do it)” by Grandmaster Flash and Grandmaster Melle Mel. The track listing certainly includes some bangers, but also says a lot about Kendall as a character, and how he views his life. Tracks like "Man of the Year" and "Big Conspiracy" give viewers a subtle glimpse at the paranoia and mistrust that engulfs his life.

Succession is drawing toward the end of its third season, and HBO has already renewed the show for a fourth season, which could be explosive. Not much information has been released about the fourth season, but fans can assume that the cast will all return, bar major developments at the end of Succession season 3. Star Brian Cox has already stated that he doesn’t see the show lasting beyond four or five seasons, so it will be interesting to see how accurate this is, and what the future of Succession may look like beyond season 3.
