A new leak has seemingly revealed the character roster of Street Fighter 6 just hours after the latest gameplay trailer was shared. The title was one of many games shown during June's PlayStation State of Play event, giving fans a fresh look at the upcoming release, its new modes, and some of the characters players have to look forward to.

Since the official announcement of Street Fighter 6 in February, only a handful of returning characters have officially been announced. Among them are Ryu and Luke, who were the first two characters to be confirmed. Capcom's latest gameplay presentation has since revealed two other characters with the return of fan-favorite Chun-Li, and a new character named Jamie. A fifth fighter named Kimberly also appeared at the end of the trailer previewing the new Battle Hub, although it is still unconfirmed if she is a playable character. Fans spotted a host of other fighters in the Street Fighter 6 gameplay reveal, though their identities are currently unknown.

A new leak appears to fill out the roster of characters for Street Fighter 6. Shared to Twitter by Knoebel (via VGC) the leak claims to show artwork for all of the new and returning characters coming to the game. While the images are currently being shared across social media, the source is unclear, though it's believed to have first surfaced on 4Chan. The posts feature 22 characters in total, with returning fighters spanning across the series' history, including Cammy White from Super Street Fighter II and Jurl from Super Street Fighter IV. Kimberly is also featured in the alleged leak, along with an American with long dreadlocks and a pair of blue earbuds attached to what looks like a Walkman, as well as other new and mysterious characters. It's unclear at the time of writing whether the leak is legitimate.

Capcom, who will soon be celebrating Street Fighter's 35th birthday with the upcoming release of the Capcom Fighting Collection, has not yet responded to the alleged leak as of now. While the images may very well prove to be false, it's also been noted that the designs for each character match up with descriptions shared on Reddit months before the gameplay trailer was shown.

Many fans may remember the time when Street Fighter 6 was initially revealed through a leak, detailing its now-confirmed release on PS4/5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Street Fighter 6 will feature a single-player adventure along with three new game modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour, and the Battle Hub. Though it's doubtful that Capcom will come out and officially confirm or deny the alleged leak, fans will be keeping a watchful eye for the next characters that are revealed in future Street Fighter 6 trailers and announcements.
