A new website compares the benefits of each streaming service. Streaming services have become the biggest commodity, continuing to grow substantially with subscribers, especially this last year with the pandemic. More original content has been produced for streaming services such as Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+, and many network shows and films that have been in theaters are available to stream on various platforms. Now there is a website that helps narrow things down for viewers who want to figure out what to watch next.

A new website Movie of the Night has a chart and graphs that separate content into various categories for people who want to watch something specific on a streaming service. The website includes the number of shows or movies that fit into a category and provides viewers with the list of content based on the five main streaming services: Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hulu. However, users also have the option to add Peacock, Paramount+, and more. As of now, the site includes categories such as all television shows, movies and shows based on specific IMDb ratings, romance movies, and shows suitable for children.

The statistics of all the streaming platforms are eye-opening, with Amazon Prime Video leading all other streaming services in almost all categories, having almost double the amount of series compared to Netflix. However, Amazon does have a low number of television series with high IMDb ratings, where it trails Netflix and Hulu interestingly enough. And while Disney+ unsurprisingly has the least amount of content compared to several others, it exceeds all streaming services except for Amazon with shows suitable for children and is not too far behind Hulu for movies with high IMDb ratings. The website is a great guide for viewers who want to find out which streaming platform best suits their needs.
