The main character in Stray, the unnamed orange protagonist cat, can help players earn the Productive Day Trophy by doing the least amount of work. Stray is one of a handful of new games released on PlayStation 4 & 5 for July. It offers players an immersive, 3D puzzle platforming experience, where players navigate a bright, Cyberpunk-esque city searching for a stray cat's family. Stray has caught people's attention, as instead of running around the city killing enemies, players need to avoid them, or in some cases rub up against them.

There are 25 Trophies in Stray. Many of them require players to repeat an action several times; meowing 100 times will earn players a Trophy, for example. Other Trophies will be unlocked naturally by playing the story. However, the Productive Day Trophy is a little more obscure.

Players can earn the Productive Day Trophy in Stray by letting the cat sleep for one real-world hour. There is no benefit to letting the cat sleep, and it can't happen just anywhere in the game, but if players leave their furry friend to rest for an hour in particular places, they will earn the Productive Day Trophy.

Throughout the various levels in Stray, players will come across interactable items. For example, when players interact with the paper bags in chapter 4 of Stray, the Slums, the cat will stick his head inside and get stuck for a little while. Look for comfortable places to rest, like bedding, and use the Triangle button to interact. The cat will curl up and purr, which is also audible and very soothing. Let the cat rest for an hour of players' time, and they will earn the Trophy.

There are a lot of places to rest in chapter 4 of Stray, the Slums. Next to the Morusque is some bedding, and if players give him all the music sheets, he will play music while the cat rests. The sleeping robot on the rooftop also has bedding nearby, and when players rest there, the camera will slowly zoom out to give a wide-angle shot of the city in Stray.

If players do not want to waste an hour waiting for their cat friend to get his cat nap, they can do it over several sittings as the achievement is cumulative. Once the achievement is unlocked, players will earn a Silver Trophy for their efforts, although letting a cat sleep is probably the easiest achievement possible.
