Every cast member of Stranger Things is a mutant in a new fan poster imagining them in X-Men. Netflix quietly launched Stranger Things last year and the incredible word of mouth turned this love letter to the '80s into a cultural phenomenon. The stars of the show have become some of the most sought after names in the business, with many of them already branching out into big movie franchises while sticking around for future seasons of Stranger Things.

The show returned with a fury a few weeks ago for season two, bringing audiences back in contact with the characters they already loved, but also introducing a few new faces. The interest in the cast is high as evident with Millie Bobby Brown being eyed for Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver ChairDavid Harbour cast as Hellboy, and Finn Wolfhard shining bright in IT. But, what if all of them were superheroes?

Fan artist BossLogic revealed some character posters a few weeks back of many stars of Stranger Things as X-Men characters. The roll out continued in the days that followed and culminated with the artist releasing a complete poster. If you only saw the previous posters we covered, the following includes the entire cast in some iconic X-Men characters.

As previously shown, the poster shows Brown as Jean Grey, Wolfhard as Cyclops, Gaten Matarazzo as Beast, Noah Schnapp as Iceman, and Caleb McLaughlin as Bishop. Joining them in their new mutant personas is Winona Ryder as Mystique, Joe Keery as Gambit, Natalia Dyer as Rogue, Harbour as Sabertooth, Charlie Heaton in his actual X-Men role of Cannonball, Sadie Sink as Emma Frost, Dacre Montgomery as Wolverine, Linnea Berthelsen as Storm, Sean Astin as Colossus, Matthew Modine as the evil Mr. Sinister. Individually, the character portraits and fan cast choices are great, but together it makes for quite an incredible poster.

This may just be a fan made poster, but it may only be a matter of time before many of these actors take on superhero gigs. Most of these fan casted roles are currently taken, but with multiple studios interested in buying Fox, a reboot of X-Men may not be too far away. If that happens, going with several of these choices would not only look great, but it'd be smart to build off the hype of Stranger Things - especially if such a reboot used several cast members from the show.

With Harbour and Heaton already having superhero roles lined up, the interest in some of the other actors taking on a big franchise may not be out of the question. Schnapp and Wolfhard were both fan-favorites to possibly play Billy Batson in Shazam!, while Montgomery teased some interest in playing Nightwing. As long as Stranger Things continues to be one of the most popular shows going, it won't be surprising to see many of these cast members be in contention for future superhero related roles.
