Cosplayer Lunil has brought Stranger Things' fan-favorite duo Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley, and their goofy season 3 Scoops Ahoy uniforms, to life. Joe Keery has played Steve, popular Hawkins High student turned unlikely hero, since Stranger Things season 1, beginning as a supporting character before later becoming a core cast member. Maya Hawke's Robin joined the Netflix series during season 3, where she would form a strong friendship with Steve during their employment at Scoops Ahoy and their battles with undercover Soviet soldiers.

While Stranger Things season 5 is next up, cosplayer Lunil and voice actor Jacapo Calatroni have jumped back to season 3 with a new cosplay inspired by one of the many stories surrounding Hawkins' Starcourt Mall.

In the post above, Lunil and Calatroni capture Robin and Steve's personalities and budding friendship from their time at Scoops Ahoy in season 3. Calatroni's cosplay also features the injuries that Steve sustains at the hands of the Soviet soldiers when they are briefly captured in the underground facility.

How Steve & Robin Became Stranger Things' Best Friendship

While Steve grew and redeemed himself throughout Stranger Things' first two seasons following his poor treatment of Nancy Wheeler (Natalia Dyer) and Jonathan Byers (Charlie Heaton), season 3 earned further appreciation for the character. Now friends with Dustin Henderson (Gaten Matarazzo), Steve is one of the first individuals to help the kid with his Russian spy transmission theories, with Robin later assisting. This experience would also bring Steve and Robin together, deepening their friendship through meaningful moments.

With Starcourt firmly out of business at the end of season 3, Stranger Things season 4 built on Steve and Robin's friendship. Now firm friends with a close understanding of one another, the pair confide in each other about their relationship woes, with Steve encouraging Robin to ask out fellow band member Vickie (Amybeth McNulty). Even after facing Soviet soldiers, Mindflayers, and nightmarish horrors seeping into Hawkins from the Upside Down, Steve and Robin's friendship has endured, growing stronger through each crisis and becoming a beloved on-screen dynamic.

Steve and Robin currently stand as two of Stranger Things' most beloved characters. The duo has a fun dynamic that, while often leads to much teasing between the two, also carries many of the show's most heartfelt moments. As such, fans are sure to embrace Lunil and Calatroni's brilliant cosplays that capture the close comradery between the two.
