The latest Stranger Things season 4 set photos show dynamic duo Steve and Robin teaming up with one of the show's many new characters. Season 3 of Stranger Things premiered back in July 2019 and introduced a whole host of newcomers and threats. Maya Hawke's Robin was one of the highlights of season 3, as she and Steve (along with Dustin and Erica) formed an excellent team as they investigated the strange innerworkings of the Starcourt Mall. By the end of it all, Robin had cemented herself as one of the key members of Stranger Things' core characters.

Despite hopes that Stranger Things season 4 would premiere in early 2021, production was disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic only a few weeks into filming. Work resumed in September, but it's certain Stranger Things won't return to Netflix until later in the year. Luckily, fans have been gifted with several teases about what's to come, including the many new characters joining the show. The latest additions to Stranger Things include iconic horror actor Robert Englund, Eduardo Franco, Jamie Campbell Bower, Sherman Augustus, Mason Dye, Tom Wlaschiha, Nikola Djuricko, and Joseph Quinn. Of all these new cast members, it's Quinn who looks to be joining Robin and Steve's team in these images.

In pictures revealed by the Daily Mail, Hawke and Steve actor Joe Keery were spotted tramping through the woods of Atlanta alongside Quinn, who plays D&D club president Eddie Munson. While it wasn't completely clear as to what they were doing, it seems likely that the trio was investigating something. After all, when characters venture into the woods on Stranger Things, they're usually on the lookout for something.

It was previously revealed that Eddie's D&D group is named The Hellfire Club, a reference to the X-Men comics. As the first episode of Stranger Things season 4 is titled "The Hellfire Club," it's clear this group is set to play a vital role in the upcoming episodes. Eddie himself is representing the club in the newly revealed set photos, as it's noted he's wearing a shirt with the name emblazoned on the front. Somehow, Steve and Robin have gotten themselves tied up with The Hellfire Club and Eddie, though what brings them together remains to be seen.

Nevertheless, fans are very excited to see what's in store for Stranger Things season 4. Much of the buzz so far has been about Jim Hopper's (David Harbour) surprising survival following his sacrifice at the Hawkins Lab. A teaser released earlier this year for season 4 revealed Hopper is being kept in a Russian prison, and fans have been speculating about how he will escape. However, the set photos also indicate something odd is going on in Hawkins, meaning the action will surely be split between multiple locations. Stranger Things season 4 is shaping up to be jam packed with action and new faces, and hopefully it's just as thrilling as it seems to be.
