On the heels of part 1 premiering on Netflix, a secret Stranger Things season 4 part 2 trailer was attached to the end of episode 7. Netflix attaching the Stranger Things season 4 part 2 trailer to the end of one of its seasons isn't the first time the streaming platform has promoted its shows in a similar vein. Most recently, the first trailer for The Witcher: Blood Origin was attached to the end of the season 2 finale's credits for the Henry Cavill series, while also having previously included a post-credits tease for The Punisher spinoff series to the post-credits of Daredevil season 2. With the former having eventually been released online by the streaming platform, it seems likely Netflix will themselves release the Stranger Things season 4 part 2 trailer at some point in the near future.

Though receiving some criticisms for an overstuffed story, the first part of Stranger Things season 4 has received largely positive reviews and left many on the edge of their seats waiting for part 2's premiere this July with episode 7 finally seeing Joyce and Hopper reunited and the truth behind Vecna's existence and ties to Eleven and the Upside Down. The Stranger Things season 4 part 2 trailer points to a pulse-pounding closure to the new season, including the potential return of the Mind Flayer, as seen by Hopper discovering a tank with a mist entity akin to that seen possessing Will in season 2. The wait for the final two episodes of the season won't be long as Stranger Things season 4 part 2 premieres on July 1.
