The full list of episode titles for season 4 of Stranger Things has been released, hinting at many new adventures along with the return of Billy. The retro series, which premiered on Netflix in 2016, follows the adventures of a group of pop culture-obsessed kids in the supernaturally-infused town of Hawkins, Indiana during the 1980s. The ensemble of kids and adults throughout town includes Millie Bobbie Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Cara Buono, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink. After some pandemic-related delays, Stranger Things season 4 is set to stream in summer 2022.

Billy Hargrove is played by Dacre Montgomery, an Australian actor who starred in the 2017 Power Rangers reboot and will also be appearing alongside Tom Hanks and Austin Butler in Baz Luhrmann's upcoming Elvis Presley film. The bully older brother of Max, Billy was introduced at the beginning of season 2. He antagonized the core group of kids in the series and in season 3 became possessed by The Mind Flayer. At the end of the season, after sacrificing himself to save Eleven, Billy apologized to Max in a redemptive moment.

Netflix has released a new video listing the titles of every chapter of the new season. The episodes will be called "The Hellfire Club," "Vecna’s Curse," "The Monster and the Superhero," "Dear Billy," "The Nina Project," "The Dive," "The Massacre at Hawkins Lab," "Papa," and "The Piggyback." The video also announces that the season will take place in the Spring of 1986, just a few months after season 3's setting in Summer 1985. Check out the video below:

These episode titles hint at many of the storylines and influences that season 4 will be including. The most prominent is "Dear Billy," which implies that Billy's presence won't have vanished with his death. While it doesn't confirm that the character will be brought back to life, the episode will likely deal with the legacy of the character and the impact he had on the people he tormented. "The Massacre at Hawkins Lab" also implies a slasher-themed episode, which may have inspired Finn Wolfhard, who will soon be making his directorial debut with a comedy slasher film. Also, "Vecna's Curse" refers to a Dungeons & Dragons character who is a human who became a lich with godlike powers, which implies that the supernatural dangers of this season will become even more overwhelming.

It has been a long wait for this season of Stranger Things, but it certainly seems like little has changed in the intervening years. The show is still firmly planted in its 80's influences and dedicated to delivering its nerdy influences in a heaping platter. Although not much information has been released about the plot thus far, the small glimpses fans have gotten from the teaser, as well as these episode titles, imply that this season is going for the throat yet again with pure creepy fun.
