The cast of Stranger Things gets back together for a table read ahead of season 4 filming in a newly released video. The fourth season of Netflix’s hugely popular sci-fi/horror series is still months away from release, but already the single biggest lingering question from season 3 has been answered. Yes, Jim Hopper is still alive (to the surprise of almost no one).

If Netflix hadn’t already revealed that Hopper indeed somehow survived the explosion of the hidden Russian facility beneath the Starcourt Mall in season 3, fans would definitely know now thanks to the new video just released by the streaming service. In the clip, Hopper actor David Harbour and all his many Stranger Things co-stars can be seen getting together for a table read as season 4 heads into production. Of course, the video ends before the actual reading begins, otherwise all the season’s mysteries would be out in the open. See the clip in the space below:

Netflix’s previous Hopper reveal showed the character bald headed and slaving as a prisoner in the snow on a Russian railroad construction gang. The new table read clip, which uses a filter to make it look like old VHS video (in keeping with the show’s love of ‘80s nostalgia), shows Harbour arriving with his head already shaved fondly greeting co-star Finn Wolfhard. Among the other actors assembled for the read is Priah Ferguson, who was recently promoted to series regular after becoming a fan favorite over the past three seasons. Clearly, everyone is happy to be back together and ready to return to work to tell the next chapter in the story, which sees many of the cast members leaving the town of Hawkins.

The announced cast for Stranger Things season 4 (many of whom can be seen above) includes Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Cara Buono and Brett Gelman.
