Actor Sadie Sink's 2012 performance in the musical Annie has been shared following Stranger Things season 4 release. Sink stars as Max Mayfield in the popular science-fiction horror series, which centers on the core group of teenagers as they once again face off against forces from the parallel dimension known as the Upside Down. The actor has received universal praise for her performance as Max this season as she excellently portrayed a character tortured by the pain and guilt of her brother's death in season 3.

Although fans widely know her as the fiery member of the heroes of Hawkins, Indiana, Sink began her professional acting career as a nine-year-old with the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts in Houston, Texas. There she managed to hone her skills as an actor and landed the role of the titular character in the musical Annie in 2012. As Sink has now become a household name through the popularity of Stranger Things, especially with her association with the Kate Bush "Running Up That Hill" scene, her Annie performance has resurfaced.

As the videos clearly show, Sink has been a natural performer since a young age, commanding the stage and now the big and small screen. It was through this performance she managed to be cast in Broadway's 2012 revival of Annie where she subsequently replaced Into the Woods film star Lilla Crawford as the title character. During her time on Broadway, she met her future co-star Caleb McLaughlin, who plays Max's love interest Lucas Sinclair on Stranger Things.

Following her appearance on Broadway, Sink's career took off with her landing roles in Blue Bloods, American Odyssey, and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt before landing a starring role on Stranger Things season 2. From there she prominently featured in Netflix's Fear Street horror trilogy and will star in Academy Award-nominee Darren Aronofsky's upcoming feature film The Whale. With nowhere for her career to go but up, audiences can look forward to her final appearance as Max when Stranger Things returns for its final season.
