Eleven's telekinetic superpowers are, like Eggo waffles and 80s nostalgia, a staple of the hit Netflix sci-fi show Stranger Things. The young telepath gained her powers after her mother was subjected to a series of tests that left her with psychic abilities, and Eleven was raised in Hawkins Lab by the evil Dr. Brenner who hoped to use her powers for his gain.

El's powers are impressive but she is still outmatched by many well-known characters from comic books. DC Comics boasts some of the most powerful superheroes and supervillains in popular culture who would easily defeat El in a fight - as well as some lackluster figures who wouldn't stand a chance against the telekinetic teenager. Here are five characters from the DCEU who could beat Eleven in battle and five she would easily win against.

Winner: Superman

Superman is known for being ridiculously overpowered. The Man of Steel is one of the strongest superheroes in comic books and popular culture and possesses numerous abilities including flight, heat-ray vision, super strength, and super speed.

As he is only susceptible to green kryptonite, Superman would be near impossible for Eleven to defeat. Her telekinetic abilities are limited and would do little damage in the long run to the last son of Krypton.

Loser: Batman

DCEU Batman Ben Affleck

Batman is a veteran superhero and one of the founding members of the Justice League. His training and the technology at his disposal make him a formidable foe, but in a one-on-one fight, Eleven would defeat the Dark Knight.

Batman has proved capable of defeating superpowered individuals before in the comics but it is because of Bruce Wayne's contingency plans. With no time to prepare or research El's limitations, the telekinetic teenager would have his number.

Winner: Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman has been depicted as one of the strongest superheroes in the DC Extended Universe. She spent her life training with the Amazons on Themyscira and, as the daughter of Zeus, can command colossal mystical powers of her own.

Eleven is powerful but she lacks the experience that Diana has. As a veteran warrior who is no stranger to fighting monsters and creatures from other worlds, Wonder Woman would have no trouble taking on the heroine of Stranger Things.

Loser: Harley Quinn

Harley Quinn is one of the most popular and beloved characters in comic books. Her rebellious spirit, fun nature and disregard for the rules are entertaining staples of her character, but unfortunately, without superpowers, she is another losing contender who wouldn't stand a chance against Eleven.

El's telekinetic abilities make her a tough opponent to defeat. It would be near impossible for anyone without abilities to take on El in a fair fight, and Harley lacks the self-discipline to explore other avenues of taking the telekinetic teenager down.

Winner: Enchantress

Enchantress crouching and surrounded by black mist in Suicide Squad

Enchantress appeared in the controversial 2016 film Suicide Squad and remains one of the most powerful characters in the DC Extended Universe. Her powerset is unclear but, as a centuries-old witch, it is clear that she possesses magical abilities that rival El's psionic powers.

From the perspective of power alone, Enchantress would win this fight easily. However, as she was defeated by the non-powered members of the squad during the film's climax, El could stand a chance yet.

Loser: Deadshot

DCEU Characters Who Share Your MBTI Type

Another character from the DC Extended Universe who was introduced in Suicide Squad, Deadshot is an exceptional marksman and is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and weaponry. However, his training isn't enough to stand directly against Eleven's powers in a one-on-one fight.

Deadshot's best hope would be to outsmart Eleven to stand a chance of defeating her. However, it would only take a split second for El to use her psionic powers to destroy him.

Winner: The Flash

The Flash in the DCEU played by Ezra Miller

The Flash first appeared in Justice League and fans are still anticipating his stand-alone film in the DC Extended Universe. He is one of the most powerful characters in DC Comics, possessing the ability to run at superhuman speed and travel through time.

El is powerful but Flash could simply run rings around her without the telekinetic teenager ever catching a glimpse of the superfast superhero. Even if Eleven could defeat him then Barry could simply reverse time and undo the result of the battle.

Loser: Aquaman

Jason Momoa made Aquaman cool in the 2018 DCEU film and his powers were clearly defined and impressive. Despite this, Arthur's abilities are too strongly tied to the sea and, during a battle on land, the Atlantean would struggle against El's psionic powers.

Moving the fight towards the sea would turn the tide in Aquaman's favor. However, in a one-on-one fight on-land, there is little doubt that El could defeat Arthur as she is yet to realize the full potential of her powers.

Winner: Steppenwolf

Steppenwolf was the main antagonistic in the 2017 film Justice League. It took the combined efforts of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, and Cyborg to stop him from activating the mother boxes and unleashing hell on earth, proving what a powerful - if bland - villain he was.

El is no stranger to fighting dark and powerful entities. The teen has had several encounters now with the Mind Flayer, but would still struggle in a fair fight against Steppenwolf without the assistance of the league.

Loser: Katana

Suicide Squad Deleted Katana Sword Skulls

Katana is another character who was introduced in Suicide Squad, though she had little impact on the narrative of the film. She is a skilled swordswoman whose weapon imbibes the souls of its victims, but despite Katana's martial arts skills, she is a poor match for Eleven at the peak of her powers.

Katana never gets an opportunity to showcase her abilities in Suicide Squad. Despite being a member of the team in the comics, she is not slated to appear in the upcoming film Birds Of Prey: The Fantabulous Emancipation Of One Harley Quinn, and is unlikely to appear in the DCEU again.
