The newest line of Stranger Things Funko Pop! collectibles includes the kids in their Ghostbusters costumes. The sight of Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Will (Noah Schnapp), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo) in their uniforms from the 1984 classic has long been one of the enduring images of the hit Netflix series' second season, which brought more of the riveting drama and endless '80s pop culture references that helped make it such a hit in the first place.

Although Stranger Things markedly ramped up the horror elements in season 2, it was not without its moments of comic relief. One of the funniest moments from early in the season was when the boys rode proudly into their school parking lot decked out in Ghostbusters gear ... only to find that literally no one else was wearing costumes. Funko has decided to honor the memorable season 2 sequence with its latest collection.

The official Funko blog revealed last Friday its new line of Stranger Things vinyl collectibles, which features the four kids in their Ghostbusters attire as part of the series. It's the first clear look at the kids in costume after the products leaked earlier in October. You can get each of the boys with their costume and proton pack, with some added wrinkles. Everyone is holding a pillowcase except for Lucas, who is holding his proton pack gun. Dustin comes with his own custom Ghostbuster trap, while Will appears to be holding a camcorder. Update: Funko has unveiled a second wave of Stranger Things 2 figures. Check out some preview images below:

The series also comes with a new version of Joyce (Winona Ryder) and also of Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), who is sporting her short, wavy-haired look from the beginning of season 2. There are also two versions of newcomer Max (Sadie Sink), one with her signature skateboard and another in her Michael Myers costume. The latter will be a Hot Topic exclusive.

Funko's new Stranger Things series is a worthy follow-up to the season 1 collection, which featured the four main boys in their normal clothes and Eleven in her "disguise" with a box of Eggos. It's a must-have for Funko Pop! collectors who are fans of Stranger Things, and Ghostbusters for that matter. The scenes were certainly a fun way to both honor the legacy of the movie and introduce a Halloween element to the series.

Season 2 has not been without its share of criticism. Episode seven, an unexpected diversion from the main plot that focuses entirely on Eleven's solo journey, is as controversial as any in the series. But the show also set Twitter records and arguably fixed some problems from the first season. It remains hugely popular, so expect these new Funko Pop! collectibles to fly off the shelves.
