After a two-year hiatus, A&E's Storage Wars is back on the air, and we've found out what Jarrod's life was like before the reboot. Life outside of the show just isn't the same for returning lead cast member, Jarrod Schulz. Jarrod and his partner Brandi Passante were a dynamic duo on the show and were rarely seen apart. They were often known to work as a team when bidding on storage units. This season, Jarrod's coming back solo, as he and Brandi have broken up.

Jarrod and Brandi, who have to follow rules while appearing on the show, technically split up back in 2018. However, this latest season is the first time fans are seeing how things play out onscreen. The split happened right after last season's filming wrapped. They share two children and starred in their own spin-off program back in 2014. Ironically, the show was called, Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job, and featured their wedding plans. Jarrod and Brandi's actual ceremony never took place.

According to a The Dad Diary Facebook Live interview, Jarrod and Brandi split up about two years ago, and Brandi is now a single mother of their two children. During the season 13 premiere, Shulz told reporters, "Just because me and Brandi aren't together anymore, doesn't mean we can't go to an auction- but separately." Later that same episode, Brandi called Jarrod an "idiot" for overspending on one storage unit. The show will definitely be playing into the two's growing rivalry and their breakup.

Jarrod Schulz has moved on from Brandi and is in a new relationship. Jarrod is now dating a woman named Rochel Beckman. Back in January 2020, Schulz revealed online that he had a new girlfriend. At the time, the news was surprising to many fans. This was because Schulz and Brandi had kept the situation a secret for such a long time.

With the truth out about Jarrod's relationship status, many fans are wondering how things will play out during the new season. There is clearly plenty of animosity between Jarrod and his ex. While promoting the show on her own social media account, she has even cropped Jarrod out of show photos. She has gone so far as to block his face with an emoji.

When it comes to the breakup, Brandi has been open about her feelings on different media outlets. Meanwhile, Jarrod has returned to Storage Wars with the same kind of attitude he has always had on the show. Fired cast member Dave Hester says the show is fake, so fans will have to decide for themselves if the interplay between Jarrod and Brandi is the real deal.
