Following A&E's two-year hiatus of Storage Wars, the entire crew is back, but not everyone is back together. It was confirmed that Jarrod Schulz and his partner, Brandi Passante, split up during the break and had largely hidden their breakup up until early 2021. On camera, Brandi and Jarrod mostly ignore each other and have said some bitter comments here and there. However, shocking news recently broke of a fight that proved they weren't just playing up their animosity for the show.

During the initial run of Storage Wars, the dynamic power couple was beloved by viewers, often known as the "young gun." As the series progressed, Brandi from Storage Wars and Jarrod bid on units together to make a profit. At the height of the series in 2014, Jarrod and Brandi even earned their own show, Brandi & Jarrod: Married To The Job. The new series is a sign of things to come, as the entire show only had an eight-episode run. Back in 2018, just a year before the thought-to-be final season wrapped shooting, Brandi and Jarrod broke up but chose to keep the split a secret for nearly two years.

Since the news broke, things got increasingly intense and concerning off-camera. According to TMZ, the now-former couple ran into one another at a bar in Orange County, California, in May 2021, resulting in a loud argument between Storage Wars alums Brandi and Jarrod. Police were called and arrived on the scene, but Jarrod and his friends had already left. Days after the incident, police followed up on a domestic violence report from Brandi and interviewed Jarrod, but he claimed he didn't put his hands on her.

Storage Wars' Jarrod Was Charged With A Misdemeanor

However, police and other witnesses may have proven otherwise. The Orange County district attorney charged Jarrod with one count of misdemeanor domestic violence battery. Neither Jarrod nor Brandi has issued any public comments on the incident so far. Before the incident, taped episodes of Storage Wars included plenty of interactions between the pair. Even before the new season began, Brandi, who once dated Jarrod, added a demon emoji over Jarrod's face to the poster. In the premiere episode, Brandi called Jarrod an "idiot" for overbidding on a unit.

Although no official statement indicated he was fired, Jarrod did not return to Storage Wars season 14. No discussion about Jarrod's misdemeanor charge or behavior towards Brandi occurred on the show, and A&E never specified the reason behind Jarrod's absence. It's possible that Jarrod simply did not want to return to the show and share scenes with his now ex after things ended poorly. However, Jarrod's behavior has somewhat damaged the reputation that he built throughout the show. Recently, Brandi has stayed active on Instagram and has both Storage Wars and Brandi & Jarrod: Married To The Job in her bio.
