Here's everything there is to know about Station 19 season 5 so far, including its release date, cast, and story details. Created by Stacy McKee, Station 19 is the second spin-off in the Grey's Anatomy universe, after Private Practice. The series follows the lives of the women and men at Seattle Fire Station 19. The series was introduced during Grey's Anatomy season 14, specifically in episode 13.

Station 19's season 4 finale, entitled "Forever and Ever, Amen," ended on a cliffhanger. Maya Bishop was fired as captain after she decided to use a fire engine to get an eight-year-old to the hospital faster and save his life when no AID cars were left to take him to the hospital. This decision didn't go well with Maya's higher-ups, who were displeased with her work as captain.
