If you have seen Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone there's no way you'll imagine another Hermione Granger when reading, or re-reading the book. It has to be Emma Watson. The same applies to Bella from the Twilight saga, or Katniss from Hunger Games, and many others.

Watching the films that gave these actors their big break is like going back in time and in doing so forgetting that the first Harry Potter, for example, was filmed 20 years ago. In our minds, they're still the same kids and will remain so forever... and yet, time goes on and we all grow up. So here's a list of stars who are suddenly (feels like it) turning 30 this year.

Thomas Sangster

The boy who showed Bran Stark the way to the three-eyed raven was born on May 16, 1990, in London UK. Thomas started acting in 2001. His first work was in a television film called Station Jim.

His later works include Nanny McPhee, Nowhere Boy (where he portrayed young Paul McCartney), The Maze Runner film series, the Game of Thrones series, and the Doctor Who series. He's also received Teen choice awards (chemistry) for The Maze Runner. Thomas is also a passionate musician; he is the bass guitarist for the band Winnet, where his mom is the vocalist.

Emma Watson

Emma Watson, the girl who'd rather die than be expelled, was born on April 15, 1990, in Paris. She's an actress, model, activist, and yoga instructor. As an actress, she spent one-third of her life in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, since she was 9, desperately trying to put some sense in that scared boy's head.

She starred in 20 films including the Potter series and films like The Circle, Noah, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Women. As an activist, she was appointed a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and is campaigning for gender equality, started a feminist book club, and fights sexual harassment cases.

Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart, everyone's favorite vampire, was born on April 9, 1990, in Los Angeles. She's an actress, director, and model. As an actress, Kristen caught the eye starring with Jodie Foster in Panic Room. Though she starred in big films such as The Twilight Saga and Charlie's Angels, Kristen always preferred indie cinematography.

After The Twilight Saga was over, she took a break and started her search for more diverse roles. The list of indie films she starred in includes Still Alice, American Ultra, Equals, Clouds of Sils Maria, and Seberg. She received the French equivalent of the Oscars, the Cesar Award for best-supporting actress for Clouds of Sils Maria. Kristen also directed 2 music videos and a short film.

Dev Patel

Dev Patel, the only millionaire who's loved by everyone, was born on April 30, 1990, in London. Dev started his acting career as young as 6 years old in tv drama series Skins. His first big hit was the Slumdog Millionaire, which opened many doors for him.

He went on playing a diverse range of characters in films like The Last Airbender (Prince Zuko), The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel (Sonny, failed hotel owner), Chappie (Deon, autonomous android developer) and The Personal History of David Copperfield (David Copperfield). Dev's performance in the film Lion got him a BAFTA award and a Golden Globe and Academy Awards nominations in Best Supporting Actor category.

Jennifer Lawrence

One of the most famous bow and arrow masters was born on August 15, 1990, in Indian Hills, Kentucky.

JLaw started acting in 2006. Her first acting credit is a minor role in an unaired TV pilot for Company Town.

She gets noted in Winter's Bone (2009) and The Beaver (2011).

Her later work includes such films as the X-Men film series, The Hunger Games film series, Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, and Joy. She's one of the youngest Academy Awards winners in the Best Actress category. She also has won 3 Golden Globes and a Bafta among other awards. Jennifer is a feminist and a Planned Parenthood advocate.

Margot Robbie

Margot Robbie was born on July 2, 1990, Dalby, Queensland, Australia. She's an actress and a producer. Margot started her acting career as a regular on Australian TV show Neighbours in 2008.

Trevante Rhodes

Trevante Rhodes, the chief psycho in the looney bus, was born on February 10, 1990, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana

Before his acting career kicked off, he was a professional sprinter. He was in the US squad in Pan American Junior Athletics Championships and won gold medals in 4x100 meters relay.

Trevante started acting in 2012 in a film called Ingoma. His later works include Open Windows (with Sasha Grey!), Moonlight, The Predator, and Bird Box. He received Black Reel Awards (Outstanding breakthrough performance) for his performance in Moonlight and the film itself did very well, collecting a record amount of awards.

Rita Ora

Rita Ora was born on November 26, 1990, in Pristina, Yugoslavia. She's a singer, songwriter, and actress. Before Rita became a much-loved pop star, she had some experience in acting. In 2003 she appeared in an episode of UK series The Brief. The list of her acting credits is not long, but it includes the Fifty Shades of Grey film series, Pokémon Detective Pikachu, and a couple of other films.

Her professional musical career started when she was selected to represent the UK in Eurovision 2009. Rita did not go through with it, but her career did not suffer from it. She released 2 successful albums, toured all over the globe, and received many musical awards. Rita is also the Honorary Ambassador of Kosovo in the UK and UK's UNICEF Ambassador.

Christian Serratos

The girl whose zombie-fighting skills are unequaled was born on September 21, 1990, in Pasadena, California.

Christian started acting in 2004 in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide where she was a regular for 3 seasons. She also appeared in an episode or two of different shows including Hannah Montana.

Then The Twilight Saga happened, and then The Walking Dead, kicking off her acting career for real. She received a Young Artists Awards in Supporting Young Actress category for her role in Twilight. Serratos is a veganism advocate and a PETA supporter.

Liam Hemsworth

Last, but not least. Thor wannabe, Liam Hemsworth, was born on January 13, 1990, in Melbourne, Australia. Yes, he auditioned for Thor, but the casting director said "nah, we want the brother." Joking aside, Liam did very well for himself. He started acting in 2007 appearing in Home and Away TV Show, also guest-starring in Australian hit TV Show Neighbours.

Liam's acting credit's list includes The Expendables 2, The Hunger Games, Independence Day and many more. He received the Breakthrough of the year award for The Last Song and People's choice awards for The Hunger Games. Liam is the ambassador for the Australian Childhood Foundation.
