In Stardew Valley, players will want to get a Rabbit's Foot both to complete their collection and trigger a unique cutscene. Additionally, this item can be used toward the bundles in the Community Center. Unless players get lucky with a rare drop in the early game, they will likely need to progress several in-game months before they are able to uncover Stardew Valley's Rabbit's Foot.

The most consistent way to get a Rabbit's Foot in Stardew Valley is to raise rabbits. To do so, players will need to upgrade their coop three times at Robin's shop until they have unlocked the Deluxe Coop. Once players have a Deluxe Coop on their farm, they can purchase rabbits from Marnie's shop, which sells animals in Stardew Valley. While the Deluxe Coop is required to unlock the rabbits, they can live in any coop on the player's farm. Once players have at least one rabbit, they should work to increase their friendship with it.

To increase friendship, pet your Stardew Valley rabbit daily and ALWAYS ensure it is fed each day.

Once their friendship level is sufficiently high, the rabbit has a chance to drop a Rabbit's Foot on the floor of the coop in addition to their normal drop of Wool.

For players that do not want to raise rabbits or have not unlocked the Deluxe Coop, they should search the Traveling Cart for a chance to find a Rabbit's Foot. The cart will appear to the South of the player's farm near the entrance to the Secret Woods in Stardew Valley on Fridays and Sundays from 6am to 8pm. Additionally, the Traveling Cart will appear at the Night Market during Winter. A Rabbit's Foot may occasionally appear for sale for 1,695 - 2,825 gold. Another method to find a Rabbit's Foot in Stardew Valley is to slay the Serpents in Skull Cavern. This method may require a lot of grinding because the chances of obtaining a Rabbit's Foot this way are 0.8%.

Stardew Valley: Rabbit's Foot Uses

Stardew Valley's Rabbit's Foot is a universally loved gift. It will reward a player with 80 friendship points if given as a gift to a resident of Pelican Town. Additionally, the Rabbit's Foot can be used in a Sewing Machine to create an orange shirt decorated with eyes or used in a dye pot to produce the color yellow.

Do NOT give a Rabbit's Foot as a gift to Penny unless you are actively trying to lower your friendship with her! It is one of her hated gifts in Stardew Valley and will result in a loss of friendship points.

Players will also need to find a Rabbit's Foot in Stardew Valley to donate it to the Enchanter's Bundle on the bulletin board in the Community Center if they hope to restore the building.

Stardew Valley's Rabbit's Foot Cutscene

One of the most notable uses of the Rabbit's Foot occurs if the player simply has one in their inventory during a cutscene when they are at 10 hearts with all marriage candidates in Stardew Valley. To view this event, the player must have given a bouquet to all marriage prospects and earned the final two hearts with them in addition to viewing their final cut scene.

If the player meets these requirements with all the women and they enter Emily and Haley's house, traditionally they would be berated for having a romantic relationship with them simultaneously. If the player is holding a Rabbit's Foot when they enter the house, the player will avoid the rebuke, and instead, the women will gossip about Marnie and Mayor Lewis. Similarly, if the player meets these requirements for the marriageable men of Pelican Town and they enter the Stardrop Saloon, the men will berate the player for dating them all at once. If the player is holding a Rabbit's Foot, instead the men will engage the player in a game of pool. Players who don't want to go through the hassle and just watch the cutscene themselves can do so in the video from Jonathan Maurer above.
