Images from Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi reveal the first look at Baby Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka quickly became a fan-favorite character after her debut in the 2008 animated film Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Lucasfilm executive creative director Dave Filoni played a big part in developing the character in both The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels before directing her live-action debut in The Mandalorian season 2 episode "The Jedi." For every animated appearance, Ahsoka was voiced by Ashley Eckstein before Rosario Dawson took over the role for the live-action side of the franchise.

Ahsoka's story is just beginning in live-action canon, but fans will soon be getting a more in-depth look at the character in the upcoming animated series Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi. The show will consist of six episodes, three of which will revolve around Ahsoka Tano. Filoni revealed at this year's Star Wars Celebration that the series would span "a large portion of her life," showing the fan-favorite character as a baby, toddler, and adult. Footage from the event showed Ahsoka using the force for the first time and also an older Ahsoka training with Anakin Skywalker.

After previously being shown at Star Wars Celebration, the official Star Wars Twitter reveals the first look at baby Ahsoka Tano. The two photos show a young Ahsoka Tano with her mother and other Togruta in their village, with the caption stating, "Learn the origins of Ahsoka." Both images from Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi can be seen below:

Three of Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi's episodes will revolve around Ahsoka, and the other three will focus on Count Dooku when he was still a Jedi. Mace Windu and Qui-Gon Jinn were also shown in the footage at Star Wars Celebration, but so far, only images of Ahsoka have been released. The most recent animated series, Star Wars: Visions, didn't get as much attention as Clone Wars, Rebels, or The Bad Batch, but Tales of the Jedi has the potential to succeed. Not only does the animation style appear to be the same as the previous three shows, but focusing on the prequel era of Star Wars will likely attract a lot of viewers.

Expanding on Ahsoka's story is also a wise move on Disney's part. After appearing in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka is getting her own spinoff series on Disney+. Watching all of Clone Wars and Rebels may be a daunting feat for average viewers before Ahsoka is released; however, watching three episodes of her origin in an animated series is a great way to learn more about the character before Ahsoka's live-action story continues. Ahsoka is now more popular than ever thanks to her appearances in The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, so it shouldn't come as a huge surprise that she is involved in Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi.
