Star Wars is continuing to define itself after the Skywalker Saga has come to an end. The various Disney+ shows, as well as the new comics and books, are certainly helping the franchise move into new territory. It seems that video games are an area that Lucasfilm particularly wants to focus on, though.

Star Wars: Squadrons was one of EA's biggest recent reveals, and it's set to explore the time period after the Empire has fallen and feature a number of galactic skirmishes. With a game like this, there's room to bring in a variety of ships from across the franchise, and some of these ships can help to continue to develop the stories being told in the expanded universe.

The Ghost

The Ghost belongs to Hera Syndulla who has already been confirmed for the game. Working with the Rebels for a number of years, she's an incredibly accomplished pilot with a powerful ship. The modified VCX-100 light freighter was durable and agile. It has seen a lot of action on the battlefield, even helping out with the last fight against the Emperor and Final Order, answering the call of the Resistance.

Slave I

Boba Fett puts a carbonite frozen Han Solo into Slave-1 to take him to Jabba in The Empire Strikes Back

The Slave I was the original ship of Boba Fett and his father, Jango. It's one of the most feared vehicles in the galaxy and has been featured in a range of games already.

It wouldn't be too difficult to add the ship and could be included as part of the extended story of Boba Fett. The whereabouts of the ship are currently unknown, but it's likely that it was taken over after the bounty hunter's disappearance.

Slave II

Slave II is the second ship in Boba Fett's arsenal, although it is a far less notorious ship. Despite this, it could be a fun easter egg for fans to spot, or even become a part of the narrative.

The pursuer class enforcement ship was used by the bounty hunter for some years. Although it didn't instill the same fear as the Slave I, it was valuable enough to eventually get stolen, allowing it to potentially appear in the game.

Stinger Mantis

The Stinger Mantis is the ship that Cal Kestis uses on his missions as he tries to rebuild the Jedi Order. It's a sleek metallic ship, albeit with a limited capacity for weapons.

It's essentially a luxury ship from the S-161 range that has been repurposed to carry a crew of misfits. It's incredibly useful, as it doesn't stand out compared to other Rebel ships.

Scimitar

The Scimitar has also been known as a Sith Infiltrator and was the ship that originally belonged to Darth Maul. It was then taken over by Darth Sidious before finally getting stolen by a droid.

It's currently out in the galaxy in possession of a robot whose sole mission is to protect the ship at all costs. It would be really easy, narratively speaking, to include this powerful and incredibly designed ship into the game.

Republic Gunship

There's been plenty of Republic Gunships used by Clone Troopers during the Clone Wars. However, the Low Altitude Assault Transport might be one of the more iconic ones.

It's always interesting to see old technology from the prequels recycled in the future. It would be fun to see this ship repurposed for the New Republic, perhaps allowing it to be flown in the depths of space.

Razor Crest

The Razor Crest is one of the newest ships that has been added to the galaxy far far away. It belongs to the Mandalorian and has already seen its fair share of battle.

It's been ripped apart and put back together and is pretty capable in a fight. Most of all, though, it is incredibly useful for transporting weapons and the bounties that the character catches. It's a most-wanted addition to the game, for sure.

The Moth

The Moth is a ship owned by Norra Wexley and her crew, who will likely be around during the time period of this game. It's an old MK-4 freighter, usually used to transport equipment.

It was a great ship to use as a cover when trying to cross enemy lines, although it was very vulnerable in battle. It's a useful piece of technology that would be fun to play through a mission with, even though it's limited in its range of functions.

Droid Control Ship

Much like with the Republic Gunship, it's always interesting to see old technology from across the galaxy used in a different setting. The Droid Control Ship is one of the more memorable cruisers from the prequels.

There are so many creative ways that this could be used, and there's definitely a lot of potential if the game were to include this ship; although perhaps without all the useless droids.

The Vigilance

This is the ship that Admiral Rae Sloane is most proud of. Sloane has been confirmed for the game, and, at the time, she would have been in charge of her favorite weapon of mass destruction.

It would seem almost odd to include the character without her ship. What would be even more exciting is to be able to fly the Imperial Class Star Destroyer at some point in the game.
