A new Star Wars fan trailer captures some of the greatest moments from the Skywalker Saga. The saga in a galaxy far, far away started back in 1977 when George Lucas released his first Star Wars movie. Now over 40 years later, the Skywalker storyline is officially coming to an end this December when Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters.

The first Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker teaser was released back in April, but a sizzle reel from the film was later screened at Disney's D23 fan event. The special look at The Rise of Skywalker featured footage from the new movie but also started by showing some of the most iconic moments from the original trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Star Wars: The Last JediHaving the footage from previous films captured the idea that this was really the end of the saga, but a fan has taken this idea to the next level.

Alec Siegel has created a new trailer for the Skywalker saga, which will certainly get people excited for the next movie. Unlike previous official trailers for The Rise of Skywalker, this trailer includes not only footage from the original and sequel trilogies, but also the prequel trilogy. Siegel's work can be seen below:

While the story of the Skywalkers will end this December, Disney is far from over making money with the Star Wars franchise. The franchise is about to get its first-ever live-action TV series next week, The Mandalorian, but Disney has more plans to keep the franchise going on the big screen. Back before The Last Jedi was released, it was announced that Rian Johnson was developing a new Star Wars trilogy. Fans even got a surprise announcement last month when it was reported that Kevin Feige was also developing a Star Wars movie for Disney.

There is no denying that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will bring in a lot of money for Disney. Between the merchandise, posters, and trailers, Disney has given Star Wars fans more than enough reasons to anticipate the next entry of the series. Even though the D23 sneak peek footage included scenes from the previous films, they didn't include any scenes from the prequel trilogy. This is likely because the prequels were heavily criticized, but seeing footage from all of the films in one cohesive fan-made trailer will no doubt make fans even more excited for the final film in the Skywalker saga.
