Rogue One: A Star Wars Story took the box office by storm upon its theatrical release in December, becoming the second-highest grossing Star Wars film and the fourth film for Disney to earn $1 billion in ticket sales. The stand-alone film, set before the initial installment of the first saga, stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso, a former criminal enlisted by the Rebel Alliance to steal the plans for the Death Star from the Empire. As Jyn Erso’s father, Galen, was revealed to be the architect of the super weapon, Jyn’s personal stake in the mission proved to be the backbone of the film’s narrative.

While Rogue One: A Star Wars Story already offers a wide array of merchandise, the most avid of Star Wars collectors look to Hot Toys.  The Hong Kong-based company produces high-quality collectibles for a variety of different properties, covering both Marvel and DC films, and is no stranger to the Star Wars universe. The toy maker has already released collectibles for the original trilogy, The Force Awakens, and of course, Rogue One, including two previous iterations of rebel heroine Jyn Erso.

Hot Toys has now officially unveiled the latest variation of the character in sixth scale splendor. The highly detailed figure features a new head sculpt based on Felicity Jone’s likeness, and includes a blaster pistol, a pair of batons, an interchangeable Imperial Ground Crew helmet, a expertly crafted costume, and a special designed stand for the figure.

The unveiling of this special release comes sandwiched between the Blu-ray and DVD release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story last week and this weekend’s hotly anticipated Star Wars Celebration. Taking place in Orlando, Florida, the convention is a coveted ticket item among fans and is set to celebrate the momentous 40-year anniversary of the film that began the entire franchise; Star Wars: A New Hope.

There’s no word yet on which select markets this exclusive item will be available, only that this release is limited in commemoration of the Star Wars Celebration event. This includes  Slideshow Collectibles, where the figure is currently available for pre-order for $219.99.  It is expected to ship between October and December 2017.

Considering Hot Toys’ multitude of character figures now available for Rogue One, there are still a few major characters missing from the line-up that may yet get a release. With the most popular characters covered, though, Hot Toys may set its sights on the next chapter in the Star Wars saga, scheduled for release at the end of this year.
