The COVID-19 pandemic has forced the world to adopt social distancing, meaning in order to prevent the contagious virus from transmitting, people need to stand at least six-feet art. One funny Star Wars webcomic pokes fun at Rey Skywalker and Kylo Ren's "Reylo" ship, when the two's temperature check gets a little steamy.

Certain Star Wars fans have shipped Rey and Kylo since both characters first appeared in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Those fans got their wish in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. In the movie's final battle, Ben Solo uses his last remaining Force energy to save Rey after she sacrifices herself to take down Emperor Palpatine. With Ben now sacrificing himself to save Rey, the pair share a passionate kiss before he dies. It's a heartbreaking moment and one that gave 'Reylo' shippers the scene they were waiting for - albeit, Ben dying probably wasn't on their wishlists. In a great webcomic, Ben and Rey's romance is explored in a goofy way under the context of social distancing.

In the comic by Bounce Back To Life Comics, Ben stops Rey for a "routine temperature screening." A shocked Ben shouts 'oh my god!,' much to the concern of Rey. However, Ben tells her that she's hot. Rey decides to take the temperature gun from Ben and check him out. "My goodness, you're scorchin' hot! Rey responds back to Ben. The lovebirds are clearly playing a game of 'who's hotter?' It's cute. But, Finn suddenly pops up and urges the reader to stay a safe distance between Rey and Ben. "At this rate, the thermometer is going to explode." I don't blame Finn for staying a safe distance between the two.

Reylo SHIP

It's a cute comic that showcases a tender moment between Rey and Ben. It's good to see that even in the Star Wars Universe, social distancing is still a priority. And it's also good to see Ben/Kylo still wearing a mask - albeit, a facemask and not the Vader-lite helmet he wore when he was leading the First Order. It's too bad though Ben never got to have a chance to experience goofy moments like this with Rey, but, he more than proved his love by making the ultimate sacrifice for her.
