The Ghost Crew will return in February, but Star Wars Rebels could quickly lose someone. The winter season is rapidly coming to a close, and with that means the return of most major television shows. Disney XD is no exception to this tradition as Rebels has been on hiatus since the middle of November. Their winter hiatus gave them a break as Star Wars: The Last Jedi hit theaters and dominated most conversations about the franchise. But, it is nearly time for the animated show to return.
Fans of Rebels are anxiously awaiting its return, but should also be cautious as there aren't many episodes left before the series finale. With nine episodes already out, Rebels is quickly coming to a close and Dave Filoni says it will definitely reveal the fates of the main characters. Thanks to new episode descriptions, we not only know when Rebels will return, but also are teased with the first fallen member.

MakingStarWars shared new episode titles and descriptions found on the German site Jedi-Bibliothek. The new information reveals Rebels will return on February 24th with episode 10 "Jedi Night," and followed up on March 3rd with episode 11 "Dume." Below are the descriptions for each episode:
Jedi Night: The Ghost Crew infiltrates the Imperial headquarters on Lothal to save one of their own.
Dume: Reeling from a devastating loss, the Ghost crew rallies together to find a new purpose and resolve.
Knowing when Rebels returns is great, but it doesn't appear like it will waste much time with filler episodes to get audiences back into the story. Instead, it sounds like Rebels is going to suffer a major loss. This doesn't appear to be a loss of battle or simply being bested by Thrawn however. No, it appears that the Ghost Crew is set to see one of their core members die, and the episode titles may just give that away, too.
The midseason premiere is a clear play on words for Jedi Knight, and the events of this episode should be big for the show's blind Jedi, Kanan. The midseason finale showed Hera being captured by Imperials, so she is obviously the one the Ghost Crew is trying to rescue. Considering their close relationship, it would stand to reason that Kanan would stop at nothing to save her, and we know she survives well past Rebels. If someone is to die, the next episode being titled after Kanan's birth name of Caleb Dume may be the final bit of evidence needed to solidify that he will be the one to go. If this is how the midseason premiere ends, it will set the stage for Rebels to do the same with many of its other characters, too.
