It seems like everybody wants to be involved in Star WarsWhile the previous animated shows from LucasFilm had boasted an incredible array of voice talent, Star Wars: Rebels perhaps features a wider array the most of those other series. Across the show, there have been a number of other notable actors who have had a fun cameo or even a much larger role, and fans may be surprised to learn that they featured in the galaxy far far away. Most of these performers are likely lifelong fans of the franchise and have contributed a colorful array of characters to the brand.

Seth Green

Captain Seevor talks with Ezra in Star Wars Rebels

Seth Green, a comedian, writer, and actor, is no stranger to the Star Wars universe. He's previously appeared in The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch as both the droid Todo 360 in multiple episodes and Ion Papanoida. The actor is clearly a huge fan of the brand and lent his voice to yet another character in Rebels.

The Robot Chicken star came aboard as Captain Seevor, in a limited appearance. The Trandoshan was part of a family dedicated to mining on Lothal and was largely serving an antagonistic role. Looking to contact the Empire at Ezra and the Rebels' appearance, he would die ironically in an accident, slipping on a lightsaber.

Dave Filoni

Chopper might just be one of the most underrated characters in the Star Wars universe, but fans might not know that it's Dave Filoni that actually provides many of the sounds for this charismatic and grumpy droid. Filoni is the mastermind behind the animated shows at LucasFilm and is heavily involved in the live-action projects on Disney+.

Because of his connection to the production process, Dave Filoni has appeared as countless characters. In the context of Rebels besides Chopper, Filoni has voiced a number of minor characters including Stormtroopers like Tk-626. Outside of this, he's even been a Rebel Pilot in live-action!

Oyelowo portrayed one of the best characters of the series in Agent Kallus, an Imperial operative who became disillusioned with what the Empire actually represented and began working as a spy for the Rebels. The performance is perhaps the best of the show as the depth of the character is slowly unraveled.

In Star Wars: Rebels he was Grand Admiral Thrawn's personal defender, Rukh, who served the Empire as a bodyguard and assassin. As a highly skilled warrior, this Noghri put his life on the line and thus paid the price of serving on the wrong side of the war, perishing during the rise of Lothal.
