Mark Hamill recently shared his favorite Star Wars meme. Hamill is no stranger to Star Wars, having embodied the role of Luke Skywalker since 1977 and portraying the character over the course of six films and a few TV appearances. The actor will be forever linked to the role, which has defined his career and opened the doors to the many other avenues he's pursued in the industry ever since.

Hamill is also well-known for his voice work, particularly for his performances as The Joker in Batman: The Animated Series, which has led to his reprisal of the role multiple times since. He has voiced other iconic characters along the way as well, including the Marvel villain Arnim Zola, Spider-Man's Hobgoblin, Masters of the Universe: Revelation's Skeletor and even Chucky in the Child's Play reboot. Hamill's latest voice work is in Amazon Prime's Invincible and the Netflix animated show, The Last Kids on Earth.

Today, Hamill was asked what his favorite Star Wars meme was, to which the actor replied that it was "hard to choose just one favorite" but shared one that he felt was "pretty darn good." The meme in question is one from The Simpsons, which has Lisa Simpson on stage with a screen behind her, which reads, "Harrison Ford Doesn't Care About Anyone's Star Wars Opinions And Neither Should You," which is a believable response from the actor, given the amount of criticism he's surely taken throughout the years over the franchise. That meme is used frequently for any variety of "truth bomb" style statements that someone may want to make, be it honest, sarcastic or just funny. Take a look at the meme below:

Hamill recently reprised the role of Luke Skywalker for the season two finale of The Mandalorian on Disney+, which saw the refined Jedi Knight in action like never before. Skywalker arrives in time to save The Mandalorian and his crew, while taking little Grogu back with him for training as a Jedi. Hamill acted in costume as Skywalker, but his face and voice were de-aged and digitally enhanced to represent his Jedi Knight look in the post-Return of the Jedi universe. The cameo was huge for the show, and fans were overjoyed to see Luke back in black for the show, as well as hopeful to see him return to the role again in the future.

Mark Hamill's meme shows his similar feelings about Star Wars opinions, as well his admiration for co-star Harrison Ford's long-time devotion to not caring about anyone's thoughts or feelings on the franchise. As the figureheads of Star Wars, Hamill and Ford have surely heard everything under the sun about the franchise and their characters, so it makes sense that this would be a meme he'd gravitate towards. Hamill has also been adamant about fans liking what they like, regardless of what others may think, so the meme hits on two fronts for the actor, who surely hasn't heard the last of Star Wars opinions in this lifetime.
