The Star Wars universe has a lot of great ships that don't get nearly enough screen time. While some are destined to be featured on-screen during most films and TV shows in the franchise, others have only made their way to the big or small screen only a handful of times.

The Mandalorian's second season is on its way, and that means that some other ships from across the galaxy far far away will be featured in the weekly series. The Razor Crest has already been confirmed to appear, considering that is Mando's personal ship, but, based on character rumors and story beats there are a few other ships that are also likely to show up.

The Slave I

Slave I Star Wars

The Slave I was originally Jango Fett's ship before it passed on to his son, Boba Fett. While Fett has also used a couple of other vehicles in his career, he is most known for helming the Slave I, which has a particularly distinctive and memorable design.

The ship doesn't appear to be have been destroyed, and there have been plenty of rumors that Boba Fett himself will be returning from the grave in the upcoming Disney+ series. If he does, it seems almost criminal to not include that iconic ship along with the bounty hunter.

The Slave II

Slave II Star Wars

The Slave II was another ship that Fett used, which has been seen primarily in the comics. It has yet to make its live-action debut, but, considering the way in which the character could return, perhaps it makes for him to use the Slave II to demonstrate his evolution.

This is also a ship that fans feel less nostalgic for. While it's an important part of the Boba Fett character, it's a ship that can get damaged or destroyed, whereas Slave I is really a huge part of Star Wars history as a whole and needs to be protected.

TIE Advanced x1

 Tie Advanced X1 Star Wars

One of the most vile and hated characters in The Mandalorian was Moff Gideon. Making his appearance towards the end of the show, he was set up to be the main antagonist for the second season. The loyal Imperial previously used a standard TIE Fighter.

With his current role in the fallen Empire and his own ego though, it wouldn't be too surprising to see him take on a TIE Advanced x1. The ship that Darth Vader himself previously used, only one other person in the Empire used this ship in Legends, making it a perfect fit for the arrogant Gideon.

V-19 Torrent

V-19 Torrent Star Wars

The V-19 Torrent was one of the smallest ships in the Republic fleet and a vehicle that most Clone Pilots knew how to operate. In the same way that Fett has been rumored for the show, so too has one of his clone brothers, Captain Rex.

Rex has appeared in the animated shows, but he has not made his live-action debut yet. If he is somehow getting around the galaxy in a ship, then it makes sense that it would be a recovered one from the Republic era, which would be a great nod to the prequels and his days in the clone army.

T-6 Shuttle

T-6 Shuttle Star Wars

Ahsoka Tano is another character that may be appearing in the show from the animated side of the franchise. The character was known to be in possession of and be flying in a T-6 Shuttle. It's an older model from the Republic era that is commonly associated with the Jedi.

If the character is to be making a return, then it only stands to reason that she may be accompanied by a ship that fans would have recently seen her in. It's a great design and would look fantastic in live-action.

Corona-Class Armed Frigate

Hondo's Ship Clone Wars

Hondo Ohnaka is a very famous space pirate who has caused a lot of trouble across the galaxy. Another character that is yet to appear in live-action, it seems that Lucasfilm always has plans for this loveable rogue, with the pirate even appearing in Galaxy's Edge.

While there haven't been many hints of him besides his species in a leaked photo from the show and no sign of him in the trailer, that doesn't mean he won't be a surprise character. That incredible flying saucer-esque ship always goes where Hondo does!

The Ghost

The Ghost Star Wars

The rebels that Disney and Lucasfilm storied in their animated show were known to fly around in a ship called The Ghost. The VCX-100 light freighter had been modified by its crew and captain and was commonly associated with Hera Syndulla.

The Ghost is certainly still out there in the galaxy, and Hera herself has been appearing more, with the ship actually appearing in the battle of Exogol and Hera piloting The Ghost for a part of Star Wars: SquadronsIt would be fantastic to see it in live-action again.

Sabine's Masterpiece

Tie Fighter Sabine Star Wars Rebels

Sasha Banks has consistently been rumored to be playing the Mandalorian Sabine Wren. If this was true, then her masterpiece has to be along for the ride. Sabine is an artist at heart and has also been working on a TIE Fighter she stole.

The ship is amazingly decorated and would certainly stand out in any scene. If Banks is to play the character, then it would be a fun nod to the show Wren was once in, for her to be flying around in this adapted Imperial TIE Fighter.

Hyena-Class Bombers

Hyena Bomber Droid Star Wars

The Mandalorian has a lot of bad memories about his childhood as well as his run-in with the droids. While he comes to learn to work alongside these robotic creatures, that doesn't mean he won't face more conflict based on this fear.

The Hyena-Class Bombers, well-known vulture droids often in the universe, are robotic ships that are incredibly deadly. There's bound to be some left out there in the galaxy, and it would be an interesting conflict to see the Razor Crest face them head-on.

X-Wing

X- Wing Star Wars

While the best of the Mandalorians were not known to fly in X-Wings, there's definitely a few still out there after the collapse of the Empire. What's more, they are a well-known Rebel ship that has also been associated in the past with the Jedi.

Since Mando is on a mission to track the Child's roots, it stands to reason that, at some stage, the history of the Jedi Organisation and their link to the Rebels will emerge, and an X-Wing might be seen on screen once again.
