Hot Toys has revealed a new Leia Organa figure for the latest installment in the franchise Star Wars: The Last Jedi exclusively distributed in the USA and Europe by Sideshow. While the new film has received mixed reviews from audiences, everyone seems to agree that the late Carrie Fisher nailed her final performance as our favorite space princess in the galaxy far, far away. Although the new trilogy introduces an interesting set of heroes and villains like Rey, Finn, Poe and Kylo Ren - no one will outshine the original heroes like Leia, Luke Skywalker and Han Solo due to the mark they've left on pop culture.
From making her debut in the original trilogy in 1977 as the strong-willed princess willing to risk her life for the Rebel alliance to reprising her role as an older General of the Resistance. In the The Force Awakens we see Leia dealing with the loss of her son with Han Solo, Ben now known as Kylo Ren, to the dark side and, later in the film, the death of Han at the hands of Kylo. In The Last Jedi, we see Leia take a larger role primarily involved in pilot Poe Dameron's storyline as they face-off against the First Order.
Now, Star Wars fans can own their very own Leia Organa sixth scale figure featured on Sideshow Toys created by Hot Toys representing her likeness in The Last Jedi - which will be Fisher's final appearance as Leia in the franchise. The highly accurate collectible figure runs at $220, and features a newly developed head sculpt, a meticulously tailored elegant outfit she wears in the film, a blaster, interchangeable hands and a specially designed character themed figure stand - all in memory of our Princess. The figure also comes with the gold jewelry Leia wears in the film including a bangle, a bracelet and a ring. Here is a look at the figure:

The artists involved with bringing this Leia figure to life include Lee So Young, who created the head sculpt; Kim Da Hye, who created the 3D Design; E-Lee, who painted the figure; and JC Hong, who was Head Art Direction on the project. If you plan on ordering the figure it's not expected to ship until between January 2019 to March 2019, but if you want to own some of your other favorite characters from the new trilogy there are plenty of figures available to choose from. If you're a fan of the Jakku scavenger Rey (and of porgs) you can purchase The Last Jedi collectible of the character from Hot Toys that comes with her signature staff and lightsaber.
There are also Hot Toys versions of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker and his fallen apprentice Kylo Ren. The Luke figure comes with a walking stick he uses to get around Ahch-To, while the Kylo figure comes with his signature red, unstable crossguard lightsaber.
