A Cal Kestis action figure based on his look in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has been revealed at San Diego Comic-Con 2022. Although Respawn Entertainment didn't have a presence at the event, Hasbro was there in full force, showing off a range of Marvel and Star Wars merchandise, including plenty of action figures.

Fans last saw Cal Kestis in Respawn's highly acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which was set five years after the Jedi were massacred during the events of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. The surviving Jedi Padawan was on a quest to find a Holocron containing the identities of other Force-sensitive children in an attempt to rebuild the Jedi Order. A trailer for the sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, was shown at Star Wars Celebration 2022. Said trailer revealed a darker tone for the Fallen Order follow-up, as Cal fights to survive as the Empire continues to grow stronger.

As reported by Collider, Hasbro revealed a new range of Star Wars products at San Diego Comic-Con, including a Star Wars Jedi: Survivor version of Cal Kestis as part of its ongoing Star Wars Vintage Collection. Figures in the Vintage Collection (which are based on the original Kenner line of Star Wars toys) stand at 3.75 inches tall, have various points of articulation, and usually come accompanied by further accessories such as weapons. The new Cal Kestis figure is no exception, as the set sees Cal with his lightsaber, a blaster, and his droid BD-1, who recently got its own dedicated LEGO set. Jedi: Survivor takes place in 9 BBY, five years after the events of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Hasbro's new figure shows the former Jedi Padawan sporting a more mature look with some stubble to mirror this. The figure is available to pre-order on the official Hasbro website now.

Star Wars Vintage Collection Cal Kestis Jedi Survivor

According to several rumors, Cal Kestis won't be the only playable protagonist in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The trailer ended with Cal and BD-1 looking into a Bacta tank where a white-haired figure can be seen healing, so it is possible that this yet-to-be-identified character could fit this role. There's also a chance that this new figure could be one of the game's villains, with the other main antagonist seemingly being a shadowy Imperial senator, who can be seen receiving Cal's lightsaber seen in Jedi: Fallen Order in his Coruscant office.

Despite Respawn not ending San Diego Comic-Con this year, fans likely won't have to wait too long for more information on the story and characters in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. While Respawn confirmed the title is due to release in 2023, a recent PlayStation leak indicated it could be as early as March that year.
