It's rather easy to beat Oggdo Bogdo in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, but doing so requires skills in parrying as well as knowing exactly when to strike Oggdo Bogdo. A little over an hour into Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, after uncovering the hidden message left by Jedi Master Eno Cordova, Cal Ketsis will find himself taking on Oggdo Bogdo - a mini-boss of sorts that's bigger and tougher than the other Oggdos found on the planet.

Despite briefly fighting the Second Sister at the start of the game, Oggdo Bogdo represents the first real mini-boss/boss battle in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and it's a rather simple one if players understand how to read Oggdo Bogdo's attacks. Facing Oggdo Bogdo head-on won't work, at least not easily. Players have to use the lightsaber to block Oggdo Bogdo's regular attacks and dodge the ones that they can't defend against.

In order to beat Oggdo Bogdo, players have to continue to parry his attacks and strike - either with their regular hit or a power move - when he's recovering. The best time to do this is when Oggdo Bogdo does some sort of power attack of his own (e.g. red-colored moves). Red attacks are unblockable in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and should be avoided at all costs. The easiest way to dodge Oggdo Bogdo's red attacks is to run around him. If for some reason that doesn't work, then rolling to the side is the next best bet.

Once Oggdo Bogdo begins to power up to lunge at Cal, prepare to jump out of the way. Right after the lunge, try to get in a few slashes before moving away again, as Oggdo Bogdo may attempt to land a couple of quick attacks of his own. All in all, the only way to beat Oggdo Bogdo without too much stress and difficulty is switching off between dodging and striking - as is the case with most fights in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order - but even moreso in this boss fight than other ones.

It's worth noting that players who manage to cut off Oggdo Bogdo's tongue will also earn an achievement/trophy for doing so. Since it's typically best to dodge Oggdo Bogdo when he's trying to grab onto Cal, the best way to actually cut off his tongue is to use Force Slow to slowdown Oggdo Bogdo just enough to strike. This can be tough for people who are playing on higher difficulties, but it's still doable.
