Next month, Star Wars fans are looking forward to one of the biggest events in the sci-fi calendar: Star Wars Celebration in Orlando. The four-day convention devoted to the movie franchise has been an annual event for several years - although the organizers have now announced that they will be skipping 2018, with the next Celebration in 2019 instead. We've already had a few hints at some of the amazing things fans can expect to see at the event, including a first look at some of the badges and poster art, a Star Wars Rebels season 4 preview, a possible Star Wars Battlefront 2 trailer, and of course, a teaser for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

The show is also sure to feature the reveal of several new toys and collectibles, and everyone's favorite Pop Vinyl makers are getting in on the action with a new collection exclusive to the event.

Funko announced the new line of Star Wars figures on their blog earlier today, showcasing six of the new Pop Vinyl figures that they will be selling at Star Wars Celebration. These figures are only the first wave of the exclusive collection, with Funko promising to reveal more figures very soon. The collection includes: a Deluxe Pop of Rey on her Speeder, the Empire Spy Garindan, Han Solo with a blaster, a holographic Qui Gon Jinn, Chopper, and a Boba Fett Wobbler.

This year, access to the Funko booth will be determined by a lottery, with attendees being asked to enter into a raffle to win a ticket with timed priority access to the booth. This is intended to make it more fair for everyone - and to prevent the kind of day-long line-ups that the Funko booth at SDCC creates. There is no limit to the number of figures that can be bought at the booth, however, so fans will have the chance to purchase the entire exclusive collection - as long as their lottery ticket wins them an early spot, as these are sure to go quickly!

Funko already has several collections of Star Wars and Star Wars Rebels Pop Vinyls available, including all of the major characters from the franchise (with the very biggest characters often given multiple toys to showcase their various costumes and poses). We're sure that fans of the franchise and these collectors items will be thrilled to add these new figures to their collections (if they can!). That said, not everyone is in love with the Pop Vinyl craze, and with so many figures already in the Star Wars collections, adding multiple new exclusive figures certainly makes it harder for a collector to gather the whole set.
