Here's every piece of concept art released for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Disney+ prequel series Andor. Thanks to the new distribution system at Lucasfilm's disposal in Disney+, the present and future of Star Wars has taken a new form. The television outlet has given them a chance to do much more, and Lucasfilm made their expansive plans officially known, announcing multiple new Disney+ shows and providing major updates on previously announced shows like Andor.

The series will bring Diego Luna back to play his Rogue One character Cassian Andor in a prequel series to the first Star Wars standalone film. While viewers know how Cassian's story ends since Rogue One killed all of its main characters, Disney+ will now give fans a chance to learn more about his past when it arrives in 2022. Andor is set five years before the events of the movie and will show Cassian's life as a Rebel spy. The series will bring back other familiar characters like K-2SO (Alan Tudyk) and Mon Mothma (Genevieve O'Reilly), but Andor will also introduce new characters played by Adria Arjona, Stellan Skarsgård, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller.

Footage from the show has yet to be released by Lucasfilm and Disney, but a sizzle reel for Andor did help show Star Wars fans a bit more. The featurette included some behind-the-scenes looks at the pre-production process for Andor and interviews with Luna and some crew members. However, the sizzle reel also included some concept art for the twelve-episode Disney+ series.

An Unknown City

The first piece of concept art the Andor sizzle reel shows is a collection of pieces depicting an unknown city. Some of them have watermarks, but they don't reveal the location of this city. A man who somewhat looks like Cassian Andor is featured in the top-right piece, although it is admittedly difficult to tell. Since Cassian is featured in most of the art, this could be concept art for a city that he visits on one of his missions.

New Character Designs

The sizzle reel goes on to feature a variety of designs for unknown characters in Andor. The different pieces feature a mixture of humans and aliens and provide fans with a sneak peek at the level of detail that appears to be coming to Andor's background characters. The video includes costume designer Michael Wilkenson mentioning there are over 200 named cast members and more than 6,000 crowd people. So these designs are just a few of the characters that will be seen walking through the background of Andor.

New Alien Designs

The clips of Wilkenson talking also provide some additional looks at more alien designs for Andor. The left side of the frame includes multiple looks at female characters. It is unknown if any of those designs will be used for main cast members. There are also several pieces of concept art at the bottom right that show an unidentified human man. Even though it isn't confirmed, those could potentially be variations of the character design for Stellan Skarsgård.

Cassian In A Storm

Another piece of Andor concept art features Cassian walking through the rain. Just like the rest of the concept art, it is unclear where exactly he is at this time. This location appears to be a bit more modern and technological than the previous location he was shown in, so we know he'll be going to several different planets and cities throughout the show. It is somewhat reminiscent of the planet Vardos from Star Wars Battlefront II's campaign, but that is purely speculation at this point.

Rebels Mission Planning, With Imperial Spy?

This piece of Andor concept art shows Cassian in the middle of what looks to be a Rebels meeting to devise plans for another mission. The woman explaining the plans is unidentified at this point, as is the location that they have scouted. One detail that is particularly interesting is the man standing next to her. His suit has the same markings as an Imperial officer. The three red and blue marks mean he is either a captain or commander. This could be an Imperial soldier who has turned against the Empire or evidence that the Rebels have made a version of the suit themselves for the upcoming mission.

Cassian Hiding From Tie Fighters

Andor Concept Art Cassian Tie Fighters

Cassian is shown on another mission in the next piece of Andor concept art. He and an unknown companion are hiding from nearby TIE fighters. It is possible this is the execution of the mission that was being planned before. This could also simply be an example of Andor's life and position with the Rebels constantly putting him in harm's way.

Cassian Fleeing On A Speeder

The latter parts of the sizzle reel tease a bit more of Andor's action. This piece of concept art shows Cassian driving a speeder with a mystery passenger. This appears to be the third different person presumably on a mission with Cassian, showing that he'll be teamed up with several other people throughout the series. The other person on this mission with Cassian is shooting at something and presumably is responsible for the big explosion that is happening behind them.

Star Destroyer Shipyard

This piece of concept art for Andor features a Venator-class Star Destroyer. These ships were originally designed for use by the Galactic Republic during the Clone Wars, frequently as Jedi Cruisers. Once Emperor Palpatine took over and the Clone Wars were finished, the cruisers were used prominently by the Galactic Empire. They are known to be built in Kuat Drive Yards and Allanteen Six shipyards. Unless this Venator-class Star Destroyer is being dismantled, this concept art could reveal a trip to either location to feature the construction of one.

Cassian's Crash

Another piece of Andor concept art shows Cassian in quite a lot of danger as he's involved in a fiery crash. Cassian is known for being a good pilot, but this time someone else got the better of him. With the ship on fire and the cockpit windows destroyed, he is either near the end or at the conclusion of an action sequence and will almost certainly crash his ship.

Unknown Imperial Base

This piece of Andor concept art is somewhat of an oddity with the rest of the collection, as it doesn't feature Cassian as far as we can tell. But, it sticks out even more because it shows the inner workings of an unknown Imperial base. The hundreds of cubical offices point to this being quite the important facility for the Empire, but it is unlike any shown before. This location could be featured because one of the characters in Andor is part of the Empire, or this might indicate that Cassian will go on a mission to sneak into this location.

Cassian Fights Stormtroopers

The final piece of Andor concept art shows Cassian in the middle of a shootout with multiple stormtroopers. He is hiding behind a structure as several armed troopers approach. Judging by the scrapes, bruises, and blood featured on Cassian's face and hand, this is part of a larger sequence of him fighting the Empire.
