A YouTube video uses a computer-generated voice that sounds like Kylo Ren to explain the plot of the Star Wars Skywalker saga, focusing on Episode IV - A New Hope. Kylo Ren is one of the sequel trilogies most controversial characters. Though Adam Driver's performance was praised by many, some feel the character's redemption in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker didn't make up for his actions elsewhere in the saga. Kylo's relationship with Rey is a similarly thorny issue, thanks to its somewhat toxic and unhealthy elements.

The character of Kylo also contributed to the complicated feelings toward the sequel trilogy in general. After Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the new films went in a different direction with Rian Johnson's The Last Jedi. It resulted in one of the most hotly debated movies of the entire franchise, a sentiment that continued with the saga's conclusion, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Though some found that movie to be a satisfying finale to the main franchise, others disagreed. However, the overall saga is still beloved, as is made clear by a clever video.

"(AI Voice) Kylo Explains Star Wars," uploaded to YouTube by Speaking of AI, ostensibly features Ben Solo/Kylo Ren narrating what happens to his family over scenes from the movie that kicked off the Skywalker saga in 1977. The video includes many laugh-out-loud one-liners. For example, when Luke asks Obi-Wan about his father, Ben replies, "You mean the guy that definitely isn't Darth Vader?" When introducing Han, who has just killed Greedo, Kylo says, "With genes like that, is it any wonder I turned to the dark side of the Force?" Check out the full video below:

Speaking of AI has numerous videos featuring other famous synthesized voices such as Donald Trump, Jerry Seinfeld, and The Simpsons. The channel's other Star Wars videos include "Kylo Explains The Empire Strikes Back" and "Dating Tips From Kylo Ren". This particular video offers an accurate, yet humorous and family grievance-laden summary of A New Hope, as is appropriate coming from Kylo Ren. AI Kylo is sarcastic and clearly holds a grudge again his uncle and father, which is consistent with his characterization in the sequel trilogy.

However, although AI Kylo does sound incredibly realistic, there are several instances when the voice is obviously computer-generated, such as the few times AI Kylo garbles the pronunciation of "Mom." The video is also definitely not for anyone unfamiliar with Star Wars characters and storylines, because it includes numerous spoilers and allusions to other movies in the canon. But for those who know the Skywalker saga well, the AI Kylo video is a fun watch.
