Star Wars: The Last Jedi Figure Gives Clear Look At First Order Finn

A newly leaked image of an upcoming action figure release reveals Finn in his First Order officer disguise from Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Played by John Boyega, Finn was first introduced in The Force Awakens as the conflicted stormtrooper designated as FN-2187. Dubbed "Finn" as he helped Resistance pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Issac) from Starkiller Base, Finn eventually shed his stormtrooper armor and inherited Poe's jacket to help him establish his new identity.

In Episode VIII he's back on heroic duties (albeit somewhat reluctantly), going on an undercover mission with new character Rose against the First Order that takes him into incredibly dangerous territory. We've seen this teased in the behind-the-scenes footage, and now a toy has given us a clearer look.

A leaked image of a new action figure from Twitter user Victoria's Cantina has given a full look at Finn in the First Order officer's disguise, which you can see below.

The First Order Officer Finn will be a 6-inch figure in the Black Series, a line of detailed figures from Hasbro that is aimed at the collector market with a higher price point than the standard 3 3/4-inch figures that have become a staple since the release of the first Star Wars film in 1977. Presumably, the First Order Officer Finn figure will be available during the roll-out of toys on Force Friday II on September 1; given that photos of the figure have been revealed this soon, it's a pretty safe bet that the "Pretty big deal" in his new disguise will be a part of it.

Accompanying the figure is a weapon that looks to be similar to the shock stick the stormtrooper know as TR-8R used in a battle with Finn in The Force Awakens, which indicates the weapon will make a return in The Last Jedi. Since Boyega has already promised there will be a confrontation between Finn and his former stormtrooper commander Captain Phasma (Gwendoline Christie), we may see the vibro-weapon come into play during the showdown.

This isn't the only recent toy leak from The Last Jedi, with less high-quality photos providing our first taste of Snoke's throne room.
