Star Wars: The Last Jedi is almost here, and to truly get in the (Force) spirit, we've brought together every piece of footage available for the film - from trailers to TV spots to clips.

Since resurrecting the franchise in 2015, Lucasfilm has made marketing Star Wars into a science, keeping information tight during production and slowly teasing out footage in the year leading up to release before a full-on blitz of both trailers and tie-in promos in the final month. As The Last Jedi is less than two weeks away, the marketing is predictably going into overdrive, with more TV spots and behind-the-scenes featurettes than it's possible to keep up with. That's where we come in, with this definitive guide to all the footage you can possibly see of the movie before it releases on December 15.

Due to the sheer number of videos in the article, we've spread them out over three pages organized by category:

All The Trailers (This Page)

Production Announcement Teaser

It all started here. Just a couple of months after The Force Awakens announced the return of Star Wars, Rian Johnson rolled cameras on what was then known as Episode VIII (technically he'd shot some footage late in 2015, but this was the start of principal photography). This was announced with a short but stirring teaser that confirmed the movie would pick up with Luke and Rey's meeting from the end of Episode VII.

Teaser Trailer

The first proper look at The Last Jedi came at Star Wars Celebration 2017, with a teaser trailer that gave a taste of Rian Johnson's impressive imagery and his darker take on the franchise: we got Rey's moody use of powers, a glimpse of the destruction of Skywalker's temple, and, of course, finally heard Mark Hamill speak, saying the chilling line "It's time for the Jedi to end."

Official Trailer

It was another six months before we got the next proper footage (although there was the D23 sizzle reel in the interim, which we'll get to later), but it was more than worth the wait. The official trailer didn't just give us more footage (including a porg) but contained some shocking revelations: Kylo Ren considers killing Leia; Luke is scared of Rey; and Rey may actually team-up with (or redeem) Kylo!

International Trailer

International trailers tend to be variants on pre-existing trailers, which is definitely true of The Last Jedi's; this one is in part the Official Trailer, with some of the teaser and, crucially, a bit of new footage: there's BB-8 out of Poe's X-Wing and a brief glimpse of C-3PO looking - shocker - alarmed.

All The TV Spots

Once the trailers stopped, the TV spots began. And, like the First Order, there's seemingly no stopping them. People often complain about TV spots giving away too much, and that was even true of the notoriously tight-lipped The Force Awakens, but here it all feels like extension, with few major spoilers at play - which makes them all the more worth watching.

We're including the officially released spots on their own, but due to there being so many we couldn't even fit them all on one page, the rest have been compiled into a playlist.

Awake

Luke in the Falcon? Rey raising the saber against her master? "Darkness rises and light to meet it"? This may just be the best piece of promotional material for The Last Jedi, a chilling mood piece that features some purely incredible shots.

Heroes

As the title suggests, this is all about our main trio: Finn, Poe and Rey. Unlike the rest of the trailers, this is more unashamedly about the Reistance, with Finn waking up (his first words are "Rey") and a little more of Poe in action in his X-Wing.

Tempt

And we're back to Rey and Luke! This TV spot is very much an expansion of the teaser, with a bit more of Skywalker training his new apprentice and looking altogether worried by her untapped, unlimited power.

Back

This spot got its name from Phasma's menacing welcome to (presumably) Finn, but made headlines for showing Chewbacca batting away a porg. A short and sweet Thanksgiving tease, this really hammered home the message of these all trailers: Star Wars is back!

Presented on GMA by Mark Hamill, this spot had a lot of new footage. Focusing partially on Poe and BB-8 on a high-speed mission and Rey choosing to use Luke's saber, it's an epic character piece with one hell of a payoff.

All The Rest

As promised, here are the rest of the TV spots in a single playlist. They're mostly variations of what we've seen, with slightly extended footage (especially of the Crait battle) and a bit more of Rey's training. What's most striking is the difference in tone - some are dark and moody, others incredibly triumphant.

All the Behind-The-Scenes Features

Along with the actual in-movie footage, Lucasfilm has been more open than in the past about the making of The Last Jedi, gifting us with a selection of neat behind-the-scenes videos that show the sheer scale of the film.

Vanity Fair Photoshoot

This is more a behind-the-scenes of the Vanity Fair cover photoshoot released in May than it is of the movie itself, but it nevertheless provides some neat looks at the various sets and locations (some of which we'd not seen at this point). We also get some alternate angles of Annie Leibovitz's shoot.

D23 Behind-The-Scenes Sizzle Reel

Star Wars sat out SDCC this year, but did make a striking appearance at D23 with a three-minute sizzle reel that gave an incredibly detailed look at the making of the film. Building hype just as much as a regular trailer, this looks incredible and features some wonderful lines from the cast: not least a tear-jerking final bit from the late Carrie Fisher.

Directing The Last Jedi

Rian Johnson is The Last Jedi's mastermind, and given that he's been given an entirely new trilogy to build from the ground up has presumably delivered something truly special. This featurette follows the lifelong fan who grew up telling his own Star Wars stories on his journey to making Episode VIII, with the cast exemplifying his fresh take and overall enthusiasm.

Evolution of the Crystal Fox

Porg, schmorg. This featurette works against the internet's favorite obsession and instead focuses on the vulptex, the native creature to Crait that, over years of living on the mineral-heavy planet, have become crystalline, with sharp exteriors. These popped up in the D23 reel and official trailer, but this revealed just how practical the effects were in realizing them.

Training Featurette

Throughout The Last Jedi's marketing, there's been minimal sign of lightsaber dueling. That remains true, but this feature does put focus on the training for said combat. We see Daisy Ridley learn faster than even Rey, Adam Driver more ripped than is possibly imaginable, and a tantalizing final shot of Ridley going up against multiple assailants (presumably Snoke's Praetorian Guard).

That's all for now, but we'll be updating with any new content up to the release on December 15.
