The First Order will have a few new vehicles at their disposal in Star Wars: The Last Jedi in the form of the AT-M6 and First Order Dreadnought. In kicking off a new line of Star Wars films, Lucasfilm and Disney put the control of the galaxy once again at stake. The Resistance is the new Rebellion and The First Order follows in the footsteps of the Empire. Just how much The First Order idolizes the Empire was put on display countless times in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Kylo wants to be the new Darth Vader, while Snoke assembled Starkiller Base in memory of the Death Star.

While The Force Awakens only gave a glimpse at The First Order's artillery, what was teased was a plethora of updated vehicles. TIE Fighters, Walkers, Destroyers, and more have all received face lifts under Snoke's supervision, and The Last Jedi will give fans a better opportunity to see some of their new toys.

The Star Wars Show revealed two new vehicles that The First Order will be utilizing in The Last Jedi in their newest episode, giving fans the first images of the AT-M6 (All Terrain Megacaliber Six) and the First Order Dreadnought. The former houses a Megacaliber Six canon near its head and appears to be the "Gorilla Walkers" previously detailed. The Dreadnought is fitted with two orbital auto canons and is massive in size. See pictures of the new vehicles below:

On first impressions, it is clear Snoke wants The First Order to be as imposing of a force as possible. Starkiller Base dwarfed the Death Star in comparison, and that approach is being used for all aspects of The First Order it appears. The AT-M6 is said to be much bigger than the prototypical AT-AT, with heavier firepower. We may have already seen a glimpse of these in action in the first teaser trailer when they are approaching a group of land speeders on Crait. If those are indeed the AT-M6s in action, those pilots will have a difficult time defeating them.

With the Dreadnought, this is another example of Snoke showing his power. Thanks to its incredible size, it should be one of the biggest ships Star Wars has ever put to screen. That said, it may be even more important to the film than to serve as an intimidation factor. It has previously been reported that Snoke will spend most of his time in The Last Jedi onboard a "Mega Destroyer," which might just be the Dreadnought. If so, this will be The First Order's mobile command base.

Considering the Resistance does not have the full support of the galaxy behind it, it will certainly be outnumbered when the time comes for the two to do battle. The only trailer released for The Last Jedi has only begun to tease the big blockbuster action that could unfold in Rian Johnson's film. Whenever that element of the film does happen, it appears The First Order will be well-equipped to fend off the Resistance with these vehicles at their side.
