The cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation reunites in a photo taken during a Zoom call celebrating actress Marina Sirtis' birthday. Rather than get together in person, the cast used the video conferencing service to hang out while adhering to the social distancing guidelines being implemented to combat the coronavirus pandemic.

Star Trek: The Next Generation ran for seven seasons from 1987 to 1994. The series then continued with several feature films, before finally wrapping up with 2002's Star Trek: Nemesis. Most recently, TNG has been enjoying a resurgence thanks to Star Trek: Picard. Available exclusively on CBS All-Access, this not-quite-sequel to TNG follows Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart) as he tries to keep Soji (Isa Briones), an advanced synthetic life-form and essentially Data's (Brent Spiner) daughter, safe from the Romulans.

Along with Stewart and Spiner, fellow TNG alums Jonathan Frakes (Riker) and Sirtis (Troi) have also appeared on Star Trek: Picard. However, for Sirtis' birthday call the whole main cast of TNG - including Levar Burton (Geordie), Michael Dorn (Worf), Wil Wheaton (Wesley), and Gates McFadden (Dr. Crusher) - came together via Zoom. Sirtis and Frakes both shared a photo of the reunion moment via Twitter.
