Anson Mount stars as Cullen Bohannon in the critically acclaimed AMC series Hell on Wheels. The story of a former Confederate soldier who can't put the Civil War behind him since a Union soldier killed his wife.  Hell on Wheels lasted for five seasons.

Anson Mount - The Inhumans

Hell on Wheels was a very popular TV series and when that was over, Marvel came knocking on star Anson Mount's door. The chance to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was surely a once-in-a-lifetime moment for the actor. That Marvel property ended up being The Inhumans, following the royal family of enhanced humans who live in a cloaked city on the moon.

Anson Mount played the leader of The Inhumans, Black Bolt, an Inhuman so powerful his voice could vaporize a mountain. Mount's acting was certainly a highlight for those that stuck with it, but sadly the series just didn't work. It's possible Black Bolt may cameo in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness since he is historically a member of Marvel's Illuminati.

Rebecca Romijn - X-Men

Rebecca Romjin as Mystique in X-Men

One of the first Marvel movies that Kevin Feige worked on, X-Men is about a group of mutants who seek acceptance in society. When Magneto and Mystique capture a senator and enact a plan that will forcefully turn people into Mutants, the X-Men have to jump into action.

Rebecca Romijn, who plays Number One in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds played the role of Mystique in the first X-Men trilogy. Her character received the most drastic redesign of the Marvel characters since she was the only one not wearing any clothes. Romjin's performance was memorable but may have been overshadowed by Jennifer Lawrence's portrayal of Mystique.

Rebecca Romijn - The Librarians

Rebecca Romijn as Eve Baird in The Librarians

Based on the popular made-for-TV movies, The Librarians followed the adventures of multiple new Librarians and their Guardian as they attempt to keep the world safe from new magical artifacts. While this is going on, evil beings seek to claim the Library for themselves.

Here, Romijn plays one of the leads, the Librarians Guardian Eve Baird who is an ex-special forces agent. Her relationship with the main Librarian Flynn, was at the heart of the series and her badass nature helped get the new Librarians out of many jams. The show lasted for four seasons and was well-liked by fans.

Rebecca Romijn - The Death of Superman

Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane in the Death of Superman animated film

The Death of Superman was an animated adaptation of a comic book story of the same name. The Justice League fail to stop a powerful new enemy and Superman is the only one who can take him out. The fight between Superman and Doomsday leads to Doomsday's defeat and the death of Superman.

Lois Lane is an important figure in the life of Superman and Rebecca Romijn plays the role well. Her headstrong nature comes across through her voice, giving Lois the kind of bitting attitude she needs. She would go on to reprise the role in a number of DC Animated films.

Ethan Peck - 10 Things I Hate About You

Ethen Peck is the third actor to portray Spock in live-action, but he previously appeared in the TV series adaptation of 10 Things I Hate About You. The show, based on the film starring Julia Stiles, only lasted one season and followed Kat and Bianca Stratford's attempt to navigate the popular crowd.

Peck played the role of Patrick Verona, originated by Heath Ledger, a brooding high schooler with a habit of landing himself in trouble. Despite its short run, some viewers argue that the 10 Things series is better than the film.

Babs Olusanmokun - The Defenders

Babs Olusanmokun played Sowande in a number of episodes. He was one of the five fingers of the Hand, which meant he was one of their top guys. Babs Olusanmokun portrayed a menacing villain that operated in Harlem before Luke Cage and Stick took him down. In Star Trek: Strange New Worlds he plays Dr. M'Benga, a rarely used character from the original series.

Babs Olusanmokun - Dune

Paul and Jamis fight in Dune

The oscar-nominated film Dune followed the story of the Atreides family as they're sent to the planet Arrakis to take over the spice trade. Turns out it's a trap and the whole family is killed except for Paul and his mother, who manage to escape into the desert sands before being found by the Freman.

Babs Olusanmokun plays the role of one of the Freman, Jamis. Jamis challenged Paul to fight to the death because he didn't believe the Freman should take Paul and his mother in. Unfortunately, the fight proved deadly to Jamis as Paul was able to best him. It's a small role for Babs, but an important one in the world of Dune.

Christina Chong - Halo: Nightfall

Christina Chong as Macer in Halo: Nightfall

Halo: Nightfall was a live-action prequel to Halo 5: Guardian. The web mini-series followed Locke as he and a team go to a shard of the first Halo ring to stop a deadly virus from being extracted from it. Many members of the team died due to the ring fragment being infested with alien slug creatures that were attracted to electronics.

Christina Chong, who will play La'an Noonien-Singh in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, plays the only other survivor in this series. Her character Macer was a member of the guard on Sedra colony who teams up with the UNSC forces to stop the biological agent from being extracted. She was able to pilot the ship that saved her and Locke from the destruction of the ring fragment.

Anson Mount/Rebecca Romijn/Ethan Peck - Star Trek: Discovery

Star Trek: Discovery season 2 reintroduced the world to Captain Pike, Number One, and Spock. Spock is missing and the Enterprise is out of commission so Pike takes command of the USS Discovery to track down the mysterious signals popping up over the quadrant, in the hopes that it leads them to Spock.

Recasting Spock is no easy feat but Ethan Peck takes on the role well. Characters like Number One and Captain Pike haven't been seen in Star Trek for years, but their roles were instant fan favorites. Soon fans can see them reprise these roles on the bridge of the Enterprise in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds.
