Picard Q Hug Season 2

The Picard Props clip showcases two of the unique pieces of tech in Star Trek: Picard season 2. Adam Soong's Drones play a significant role in fulfilling different functions in the story. Soong built his Drones to protect his daughter, Kore (Isa Briones), who suffers from a unique condition where exposure to the sun is lethal. The Drones become the basis of the planetary shield that the Confederation uses to blanket the Earth against the effects of climate change in the dark alternate future created by Q. But the Drones are also weapons that Soong plans to use to shoot down Renée Picard's Europa Mission. In addition, the elegant wristbands for the black-tie gala were designed to compliment the costumes designed by Emmy-nominated costume designer Christine Bieselin Clark.

Star Trek: Picard season 2 thrilled Trekkers of every generation with its surprising, time-twisting story that incorporated numerous beloved characters from Star Trek: The Next Generation, including Q, Guinan, Wesley Crusher (Wil Wheaton), and the Borg. By the end of Star Trek: Picard season 2, the series not only bid farewell to Q but also to series regulars Soji (Isa Briones), Cristobal Rios (Santiago Cabrera), Dr. Agnes Jurati (Alison Pill), and Elnor (Evan Evagora). Star Trek: Picard season 2's limited edition Blu-ray Steelbook, Blu-ray, and DVD is a must-own for Star Trek fans that answers key questions about Jean-Luc's past and sets the stage for the final season of the series, featuring a reunion of the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation, in Star Trek: Picard season 3.

Star Trek: Picard season 2 will arrive on Blu-ray™, DVD, and limited-edition Blu-ray Steelbook on October 4.
