Ahsoka Tano is hesitant to reunite with her Jedi peers in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and given the nature of her departure, she has a good reason for being afraid. Back in season 5, she was wrongfully accused of bombing the Jedi Temple. Even though her innocence was proven, her faith in the Jedi Order was shaken. She left and never looked back, making a life on her own in the Coruscant underworld.  The most recent episode, "Together Again", prepares to bring her closer to her old life, a path she is very tentative to take.

Following their successful escape from the Pykes, Rafa and Trace Martez learn the truth about Ahsoka. They at first feel betrayed, but come around because of how she handles herself. She is trustworthy and proved herself as a friend to them. Back on Coruscant's 1313 level, the trio is greeted by Bo-Katan Kryze, a member of the Mandalorian group, Death Watch. Kryze proposes an alliance between her and Ahsoka to retake Mandalore. Darth Maul rules over the planet and the remaining Mandalorian resistance seeks to take it back. She is wary of the offer, not because she doesn't want to help, but because she fears it will lead to a run-in with the Jedi.

Ahsoka ultimately agrees to join Kryze, but her fear is not hidden. There is a lot of history between her and the Jedi that she worked to get past. They didn't have her back when she was on trial, nor did they work very hard to get her back. Anakin Skywalker was the only person who stuck by her, but she left him behind all the same. Before she left the Order, that was the only life she'd ever known. It is only natural that she would want to return at some point if she could. At the same time, with everything that transpired in season 5, it hurts too much. She has tried so hard to distance herself from that life, only for it to make its way back to her.

Ahsoka Rafa Trace Martez Clone Wars Pykes

The second arc of The Clone Wars season 7 has followed Ahsoka and the Martez sisters, hiding the fact that she used to be a Jedi. Rafa was suspicious of their new ally from the start, while Trace welcomed her with open arms. The point both sisters agree on is that the Jedi cannot be trusted. In the previous episode, "Dangerous Debt", Rafa explains to Ahsoka that the Jedi were inadvertently responsible for their parent's death. While she was a padawan, she would have defended the Jedi and argued they do more good than harm, but she didn't try to change Rafa's mind. After the Jedi let Ahsoka down, she's now able to see their flaws in a new light, and knowing how the Jedi are perceived by friends like Trace and Rafa only seems to have reinforced her decision.

It has been a long time since Ahsoka involved herself in a galactic conflict. Since she left the Jedi Order, her focus has been on establishing herself as a new person. Now coming to the aid of Bo-Katan, she will have to be the Ahsoka of old one more time. Her anxieties about the scenario will have to take a backseat. The Siege of Mandalore is right around the corner and it won't take long for the Republic to intervene. The Clone Wars has kept her away long enough, Ahsoka will have no choice but to meet up with her fellow Jedi again.
