Unlike 90 Day Fiancé star Darcey Silva, who had one failed relationship after another, her twin Stacey Silva was with Florian Sukaj for five years until the cheating scandal on Darcey & Stacey season 1. The House of Eleven owner was in great distress over a woman called Shanti Zohra, who alleged Florian slept with her shortly after the Albanian man arrived in America on a K-1 visa. While Darcey dealt with a blossoming new romance with Georgi Rusev, only to find he was still married, Stacey stood by her as a rock to show support as she refused to doubt Florian’s love for her. But are Stacey and Florian, who got married against all odds in Darcey & Stacey season 1 finale, still together in season 2?
Best known for being the mirror image of 90 Day Fiancé icon Darcey, Stacey too made her debut on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days as her twin dated Jesse Meester. With their strong twin telepathy, the Darcey & Stacey leads have been open about their attraction to young, foreign men. Florian, 30, was the perfect partner for Stacey, 46. A mother of two boys, Stacey met Florian first via Instagram DMs and later in-person in Albania. It only took 10 days for the lovebirds to get engaged, but Stacey and Florian finally tied the knot on April 20, 2020, after the Shanti scandal had pretty much subsided. Florian’s scandalous selfies with Shanti were scary enough to tear the 90 Day Fiancé star’s relationship apart and were also followed by a video of him in the Belgian model’s hotel room.
But nothing can stop a Silva sister from keeping her eye on her prize, which Stacey seems to have proven by keeping her marriage intact with Florian for over a year. A sneak-peek of Darcey & Stacey season 2 shared by E! shows Florian getting his modeling portfolio done so he can help out financially once his work permit is approved. “I’m not going to do this alone,” Stacey tells the cameras with a serious look, as she asks Florian to flaunt his “sexy eyes,” “snatched jaw,” and the abs he’s known for at the shoot. The Darcey & Stacey cast member reminisces over their quarantine wedding in an apartment, but Florian adds that he’s looking forward to their “Cinderella moment.”
The couple also reveals they’re moving into a new, bigger apartment while planning their future, and Florian confesses that “it’s good to be married.” Stacey’s husband feels it’s “hard to explain,” but it seems he likes the fact that he gets “to have somebody for full life in heart and happy to be happy.” Stacey completes his sentence and adds, “You have your love, your best friend, your teammate for life.” According to Stacey, Florian has been “like a brother” to Darcey, who has been hurting through her relationship with Georgi.
However, as Stacey wishes for her Darcey & Stacey twin to continue staying strong and figuring out what she wants in life, she herself seems to be “in a better place.” Stacey mentions, “Nobody’s relationship is perfect and we know that,” and continues, “When that woman tried to make a scandal, tried to sabotage our relationship, it was hurtful.” In November 2020, Shanti resorted to shading Florian again on Instagram, but Stacey seems to have worked her way through that as well.
