Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl brings classic Nickelodeon characters together for epic fights across a range of stages themed after some of the channel's best and most beloved shows. Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl goes beyond Nick's headline characters like SpongeBob and Patrick, with its roster of fighters also including The Wild Thornberrys' Nigel Thornberry, Hey Arnold's Arnold and Helga, Aaahh!! Real Monsters' Oblina, and more. The future looks bright for the new release, with mostly positive reception from players despite some complaints over graphics and performance. The game is set to grow even bigger with more nostalgic Nick characters expected to be joining Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl in the future.
SpongeBob and TMNT Xbox fans will likely want to try their luck in the latest official Xbox sweepstakes competition. Announcing the news on Twitter, Xbox has revealed the two very limited-edition-themed consoles, each coming with their own matching controller. Just one of each Nickelodeon Xbox Series X and controller is up for grabs, with fans able to win simply by following Xbox on Twitter and retweeting the post with the relevant hashtag. The competition will run until 8:00 p.m. PT on Sunday, October 24th, 2021, and is open to residents of any Xbox Live supported region. Winners will be contacted on October 29. The special edition Xbox Series X consoles each feature iconic artwork from both the SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchises. The SpongeBob-themed console is modeled directly after the rectangular character himself, complete with his signature brown pants, with additional details such as his arms and the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl logo on the side. The matching SpongeBob controller is the same bright yellow, featuring SpongeBob's face and the game logo. The TMNT console is modeled after Leonardo, featuring the character's iconic green and blue coloring. The side of the console is all blue, with classic TMNT symbols and the phrase "Turtle Power!" The Leonardo controller is similar to the SpongeBob version, showing Leonardo's face alongside the game logo.
With just one SpongeBob and one TMNT Xbox Series X console to be won, the competition is already shaping up to be one of Xbox's most exclusive - and popular - yet. More than 12,000 users appear to have entered for a chance to win in just an hour of the tweet going live, with no sign of slowing down. Even non-giveaway special edition Xbox Series X consoles have proven a hit this year with releases such as the Halo Infinite limited edition Xbox Series X selling out in a matter of hours.
